Judging by how Charlies 2022 proposed thread went and the mods responses upon closing it, I get the feeling that if a bunny knife is produced it will be either a GEC general run or an SFO. Just a gut feeling I have. At 500 knives and a generous guestimate of $100 per, that's $50,000 in sales at no profit. Who in their right mind would take on such a task? As for past dealers which accepted the challenge, the guy who did the Buck Forum knife all but disappeared, last year's host has a website with nothing in stock. It is as if the Forum knife is a kiss of death to the dealers that partake...just an observation.

Well, last year‘s forum knife dealer sells GEC ONLY and lists them in his eBay store now instead of his website, so I wouldn’t use that as a data point in you analysis.

And the other one closed up shop because Buck stopped doing SFOs, kinda hard to stay open when that was your main business

I’m not sure of the criteria of this years forum knife but quite frankly I don’t care. I’d love to have one but last year sucked the joy out of it. Not Quiet and others policing it but the vultures. I’m a post away from 200 in the sub so I’m not some random jackwagon but I’m also not a true porch regular. I truly appreciate the effort Charlie puts forth and hope this year is a success, that’s regulated better than last.

If I've deciphered your emojis correctly, then no I don't think that's the case. Official on-the-Porch discussion of the 2022 BF knife is but I'd bet money Charlie and Bill are still moving ahead, just behind the scenes. We'll know more when there's more to know.
