Love my BRKT Bushcrafter, and I have enjoyed some hours of watching bushcrafting on ytube. Guilty..

Kind of bored with it now, repetitive after a while.

MCQ made some very high quality stuff, but I think he got tired of using so much time filming instead of just enjoying the wilderness.

I like using Cold Steel's Tomahawks for processing wood. Obviously, many would say I am using the wrong tool for the job, especially the Cold Steel Viking Hand Axe.

However, they work, and they bring me joy when I use them. So I don't care that my Hultafors is the better tool for the job. This isn't life and death.

Go out in the woods. That's what it's all about.

I hear you. Though I have the SBT in my avatar, I also regularly use either a Terava Jakaaripuukko 140 or a Ka-Bar USN Mk.1 as my go to outdoors blades.

Taiwanese-produced factory knife in 3V vs. a custom knife in Elmax from Lithuania? They occupy two entirely different categories. It’s hard to say one is a “way better buy” than the other. They appeal to two entirely different markets.

AK-47 knife that dude has was actually made in Italy.

Besides, 3V steel is nothing to sneeze at, it's toughness is insane.

And price being 150-170€ vs 500€ is just... you can buy 3 of AK's for the price of one TRC apocalypse.
