What would Horace Kephart or Nessmuk know about bushcraft? They were camping and woodcrafting, not bushcrafting. Those clowns would tear Horace Kephart apart.
Yikes! At least that BK9 could still be reground into a BK10, hehe.

What’s the one on top? Junglas?
Just curious, do you own a Cold Steel Trench/War Hawk? I haven’t brought mine to the woods yet, lol.I like using Cold Steel's Tomahawks for processing wood. Obviously, many would say I am using the wrong tool for the job, especially the Cold Steel Viking Hand Axe.
However, they work, and they bring me joy when I use them. So I don't care that my Hultafors is the better tool for the job. This isn't life and death.
Go out in the woods. That's what it's all about.
Thats a bummer it broke. Good thing you can get a brand new one for free!haha
i believe that was an esee 6

Go to the Bushcraft USA forum, it's a good crowd and they like all kinds of knives.
Well there's no more woods left; they cut all the trees down. Now all we get is bush. What would Horace Kephart or Nessmuk know about bushcraft? They were camping and woodcrafting, not bushcrafting.
This is full of LOLz. Someone needs to nuke this thread. You can literally use any knife for “bushcraft”. I just happen to prefer my CPK’s for everything outdoor related.
AK-47 knife that dude has was actually made in Italy.Taiwanese-produced factory knife in 3V vs. a custom knife in Elmax from Lithuania? They occupy two entirely different categories. It’s hard to say one is a “way better buy” than the other. They appeal to two entirely different markets.
