Bushcraft Kit photo

Thanks, brutha. I've "informally" started production on alot of different tools and pouches that I will eventually have up for sale. Hint-hint, wink-wink, nudge-nudge.

Very cool, I'll be on the lookout. It's great to see guys posting here who make cool stuff too, like Fiddleback.

Here's my Bushcraft EDC cutting tools + (kettle for short trips :))

You know what I like about this pic ? They all look like they have been used !!!

I agree Dog. There is nothin that tells more about someone than the wear on their tools... I'm not saying you can't take care of your stuff, but there is a definate diffrence between properly kept tools and "display case prisoners".

Well everybody's kit puts mine to shame, but I thought I might as well show it.

I want to maybe just for one trip replace my S1 with this knife I made out of an old kitchen knife. It sort of looks like a modern Nessmuk.

Barny,
Nothin' wrong with that. Well done. And the "Frankenknife" looks more than bushworthy to me... don't kid yourself... nice kit.

i am looking for a tough water proof cloth like a waxed canvas but i cant find it anywhere i need it to make a pack like the frost river nessmuck style and what should i use for straps?

If you can find canvas... wax it yourself... there are plenty of online tutorials. as for straps... use belts... get creative.

This is a great thread. Here is more PSK than bushcraft, but I'm comfortable with it.

@ Nordic Wiking: So there is where the other Fenwick F1 ended up. Now I only have to track the other three :)

OMFG MY F1 JUST ARRIVED!!

it is soo sharp it shaves the (soft) hairs of my forearm without using any pressure at all!!!!

My PSK is a F1, a Bahco folding saw, a LM Fuse, a WM1 and lots of stuff showed into a Trangia food container with handle and some ziploc bags.
It weighs a ton but I need to minimise is in some way. Maybe just stuff the most important things in a Nalegene bottle. Another way is to get a decent billy can or the Trangia coffee pot (like the wiking is using) and shove all the useful stuff in it.

I call for a sticky! :D

I love these types of threads!

( I am hopefully heading out later today so I'll get some pics. ;) )

This is what i took with me yesterday, not really doing alot of bushcrafting, but testing out my two new knives

U might wonder why there's no compas there but thats coz the nature reserve was very very small only one square kilometer, and riddled with hiking paths and i've spend alot of time there as a kid.
i can almost piss from one side to the other! :D

this is the thread about the testing of the thrower:
