All these kits are nice! I haven't had the time to get one of my own together....:o

But i sure appreciate all the ideas you guys are giving!:p

The Glock is a 2nd Generation 21. It is .45acp and holds 13+1. CT is not an open carry state but we are allowed to carry concealed. Black bear are present in CT but never have been a problem. The G21 is more for 2 legged problems than anything else. I like to take the occasional solo hike through the local trails and there is no shortage of scum bags out there.

As for the kit, I have all the angles covered. Fire, Shelter, Signaling, Water, Food, Emergencies, etc.

what is that little knife you have there... is that a little creek....:D

You got it Mike. It is a black/green micarta BRKT Lil' Creek. It is a great neck knife although a little heavy. I've been using a Gossman PSK jr. a lot more lately.

I just received today my new Laplander and a Wetterlings Bushcraft axe to add to my kit. Im soaking the axe in linseed oil right now, but pictures will come of the kit.

So far this is my favorite thread, I'd love to see it more active. I am really enjoying seeing peoples bushcraft kits, it really helps me re-examine mine.

Here's my bushcraft/dayhike/hunting setup. The group of stuff on the far right under the 17 hmr ammo is put in during hunting season, rest of the stuff stays pretty much the same.

ETA: Pic missing 1 liter nalgene and cammenga tritium compass.

It would be interesting to see the changes in kit from those members who originally posted their kit pics in the 2007 inception of this thread.

Has much changed in 6 years, fellas?
