Busse Anniversary Knife Model?. . . You decide!!!

I would LOVE to see a MOJO Variant. Perhaps in a limited run Micarta pattern with serrated uppers swedge and a diff handle design. This is similar to what I was thinking but with some variations. A slightly diff handle and perhaps a deeper belly?

Ahh one of those!!!

Drink before AND after you decide!!!;)

Make a new run of the "Camp Special". 5/16" thick with an OAL of 16 1/2", with a 10 1/2" blade. Also try to sell it at the original price of $195 ;) .

Do you remember this one Jerry?

I think that since the SHSH essentially started it all, has been the flagship for more of those years than any other, and since that is the blade most people bought as their "do anything" blade,

- an anniversary INFI (spine marked) version of the SH1, beaked,
- with an optional INFI (marked) Terror, and appropriate pins/screws.
- Special (optional) anniversary sheaths, leather or kydex.

Just my $0.02

Gotta agree, posted pretty much the same thing over on the home forum.

Redo the BBSHSHI in Infi, but strike the steel (no laser) with whatever so there is no confusion with the original.

Smooth grips, hand finished for sure.

The very first one like in Skunks pic, plunge grind and all. Not the second one where the blade started to grow.

The proportions the first time out is perfect.

A field grade where one could actually afford a user.

Well if my vote counts for anything.............FLYING TIGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

Congratulations!! It's tough enough being a knifemaker, but doing it for decades, gotta have INFI in your blood.
How about a
UF6-URGENT FURY

or a

OE26- VASCOWEAR FIGHTER

And Jerry could call it the "Flying Tiger Hidden Amy" model... :D

After some diligent thought I have come up with the following idea-
Not. Remember, this is a public forum, and pre-adolescents read this forum.

Or not.

We need something that is a mixture of classic and modern, the old and the new, spanning the entire history of Bussee Combat.

We need the Steel Heart I blade shape, faithfully duplicated, same blade length, full flat grind, slightly arching spine, etc., in INFi of course, with a Fusion or SF handle, in Satin/SnakeSkin.

I will also vote for the BBSHSH and SHBA. Those are the quintessential models from the early years.

Although I wouldn't sneer at an Argonne....

I would like to see a 5 to 6" blade, very stout construction somewhere in size between a BA-E and the NO-E. Not the same knife but something similarly robust and compact. Something that would be an ideal carry for a soldier in the desert during this time of war. It sounds like there are a lot of members of the community who are serving or who have served who like having a larger knife in the field and some who favor something of the size I am thinking of.

I think a design that reflects the time we live in and that might be carried by some of the men and women fighting for us, who chose to carry a Busse they know they can trust with their lives would be as fitting a tribute to this anniversary as any of the larger and wicked designs of the past.
