I apologize. I realize I was wrong. I handled things the wrong way. No more whinning or pissing or moaning. I've apparently offended so many people that I can't name them all, so I want to apologize to everybody. I especially want to apolozige to THATMGUY and the BUSSE crew. If you want to roast me then roast me. If you want to kick me off the site, then I deserve it. I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry.

I think in general whenever you complain about somebody inconveniencing you because he was so inconsiderate he went to the hospital when you think he should have been serving you, whine that he shoulda predicted that emergency and had a backup plan, blame him for it all, you'll find that his friends will not slobber all over you whether his friends are also Busse fans or not.

Can you predict how they're going to respond to your posting in TGB&U about how "sensitive" they are?

I was dissapointed that BUSSE didn't show up at the INDY 1500 show (medical reasons). I wrote about my dissapointment on their site and stated that I thought this was unacceptable and they should of had a back up plan. You would of thought that I attacked everyone on their forum. I got a personal reprimand by everyone. Has this happened to anybody else? Usually when you complain about customer service the company tries to do something to make the customer happy, but not BUSSE. They act like they are doing you a favor by charging you $700.00 dollars for a knife. By the way I do like their knifes, but I think I will stick with Striders or Fehrmans, it ain't worth the hassle.

You're absolutely right, markksr!!

Looks like I'm here first (OK, second!), so let's clear up a few things, suttond...

The person, thatmguy, who is in charge of these Ohio events, was in the HOSPITAL for heart reasons, which could have been very serious if he'd chosen to go to the show instead of doing the right thing by getting himself checked out. Eric Isaacson posted a cancellation thread as soon as he found out, and I believe that was the Wednesday night before the Indy 1500. IIRC, thatmguy is an independent authorized dealer of Busse knives, not an employee of Busse Combat. Busse does not make him do these shows, he does them on his own time.

Then you come along acting all salty like Busse Combat Knife Company owes you something. They don't. They have excellent customer service, whether you choose to recognize this or not. When a concert is cancelled, and you go to the show anyway, do you expect the band to reimburse you for going when the promoters made announcements stating the cancellation??? You didn't attack everyone on the forum, but you did attack Busse, and thatmguy for inconveniencing you. Again, Mike was in the HOSPITAL. He didn't WANT to be there, and surely would have MUCH rather been at the Indy 1500. It wasn't like he blew it off to go drinking or something irresponsible.
Sounds like YOU are the "sensitive" one...

If you want to complain, try having a good reason for it before starting a thread here in TG&U because you're all salty that Busse wasn't there for YOU. Sheesh, unbelievable. :thumbdn: Be glad that you didn't post this thread in W&C.

EDITED: MODS... Please move this thread to Whine & Cheese! :D

A sudden medical problem is not something you have a back-up plan for.

They act like they are doing you a favor by charging you $700.00 dollars for a knife.

This logic amuses me.

That you have drug this back up again after embarrassing yourself so badly the first time, says a great deal more about you than it does anyone at Busse.

I would guess a high percentage of forumites read existing posts before the post anything of their own. The night you posted the inflammatory post about Busse not putting out an APB about being unable to attend there was a post about 8 or 10 below yours explaining the whole situaution,OOPS. Also as Jaxx stated it was announced several days ahead of time and as you seemed to be so excited to get there and purchase from them it almost seems impossible that you werent reading the forum that week for info about the show. Seems like too many sour grapes and a bad case of this.

Unbelievable, the guy doesn't turn up at a knife show simply because he had to go to hospital for a heart problem? Shocking state of affairs, he should have gone to the show instead AND DIED RIGHT THERE ON THE BLOODY FLOOR IN FRONT OF EVERYONE. That would have shown he was serious about customer service!

Yes... unacceptable & disappointing, isn't it??? The nerve of someone to be more concerned about STAYING ALIVE than selling a knife to suttond...:rolleyes:

Sheesh, some people!! Can ya believe it? :barf:

I cannot believe we just went through this and you bring it up AGAIN. What is wrong with you? It wasn't the Busse company that didn't show. They had nothing to do with it. It was a DEALER who got sick and could have died on us, and a good guy, too. :(

You go around insulting everyone and their friend with your misplaced anguish, you bet you will hear about it.

You ain't got no class, boy.

unbelievable, I caught the first thread in the Busse forum over a week ago, why bring it all up again now

Some people's sense of entitlement is bizarre.

I will be nice to you because I have to assume you are developmentally disabled.

well, i'll tell you one thing for damn sure. if idahoskunk gets in a car wreck on the way to portland and the busse booth is closed because of it, i'm going to be pissed. in all likelyhood i will never buy another busse product again. scott, if you're reading this you better be damn sure you stay healthy, or all my money goes to mantis knives. the nerve of some people, to be so inconsiderate as to have a medical emergency and incovenience me in the process.... sheesh.

Esav Benyamin, please allow me to be heard on why this thread should not allowed to stay here.

This forum is "...your area to tell about your experiences (Good or Bad) with dealers, sellers, and individuals you've bought, sold, and traded with."

There has been no experience in this case with anyone concerning a bought, sold, or traded item. This thread was started as a whine abut how "BUSSE (HOGS) followers are sensitive" and nothing else.

I humbly ask you and the other Mods to allow those of us who would like to state a dissenting opinion to suttond's remarks, to be allowed to do so in a forum more appropriate to this discussion, i.e. Whine & Cheese. I respectfully ask you to please consider moving this thread.

He has called into question Busse Combat Knife Company's & thatmguy's solid reputations into question without a valid argument in this forum.

Thank you. :)

There are plenty of threads in TGB&U that were started without a valid argument. They are useful to anyone considering doing business with the people who started them.

We don't need a dedicated Meltdown Forum, do we? Many's the train wreck has taken place right here in The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.

I think we're all getting our point across, from suttond and onward and upward. Of course, any Bladeforums member is free to start a thread in Whine & Cheese if they'd like, on any topic they please.

"So let it be written, so let it be done!"

Mike is as good a guy as you could ever hope to meet. Always a pleasure.
Busse Combat customer service is as good as it gets. They set a standard.

Once this is in W&C... :D
