I wasn't going to post, but I am most distressed by all of this. From the first Busse I purchased, right up through an absolutely incredible Blade experience, and continuing down to today, Busse Combat is a company that has ALWAYS been about people...the people who work there and the people who buy their knives.
Just call and talk to them. Or look at the responses already posted here. Or notice the interplay on the forum...I think Knife Hunter said it best when we all got back from Blade...it was like going to a family reunion. I have NEVER spoken with anyone from Busse or the extended family of knives (SYKW and Swamp Rat) who wasn't friendly and open and helpful. Jerry himself made me feel like I had family I never met, and he didn't have to do that. It's how they are. If it were just about the knives...well, I'd buy what I wanted and move on. What keeps me coming back is the people...and their ability to connect with us and make us all feel part of the company. Having great products is obviously connected to this factor.
Yes, we are a sensitive bunch...but clearly you are not able to understand that. We do care for each other, and in this day and age that is a wonderful thing. My brother and sister Hogs have made me feel welcome, and surely would have done the same for you had you given us the opportunity. I'm sorry you were disappointed, sir.
