But I wanna be cool too! (The titanium framelock flipper thread) got pics??

That opinion's certainly your right, but why bring that point up in a thread that is specifically asking for members to

If you are sick of titanium framelocks, why even come stir the thread? o_O
Normally I wouldn't, but the title of the thread implies that you gotta have them to be cool and the op talks about how popular they are.

Here is one of my favorites!

hahaaha well I mean that's why I posted this right?! I wanna be cool like the cool kids. I'm a fan of autos, I have a protech runt that's the splash limited edition, I've had that for 3 years and I love it. You should take a look at it if you've never heard of it. I also just purchased my first microtech, of course it was the ultratech de with full serrations on one side and pe on the other. I am just looking for a manual flipper with titanium at the moment because it's a different satisfying feeling. That pic tho is gorgeous a

IMG_2361.JPG IMG_2523.JPG IMG_2592.JPG 3 of mine that are crazy & slicy are a Domino, Advocate and a Southard.
All 3 have excellent steel and are nice and thin behind their edges.......especially the Advocate! Damn, but that bitch can flat out slice!!
All are great flippers too!
Joe

Since you all have such awesome collections, and I'm looking to add a TFF to my own collection: What is the thinnest, slice-iest framelock flipper (about 3-3.25", give or take) that you know of? I really don't need sturdy so much as laserlike. I just couldn't Dremel out enough of my Opinel to make the action work. :D

I agree, they are a fad that will soon fade. Like washers and dryers, or seatbelts.

Ok, I don't have anything high end, but do have a few productions. Unfortunately these are recycled pics, but pics nonetheless.

I didnt get that impression. To me he just seemed to be makig a lighthearted joke in the title. Like them or not titanium frame lock flippers are popular. You have complained about it yourself. But I dont think he was implying others should think like him.

That's the impression I got, but you're probably right.
I haven't really derailed this thread yet , so I'm just gonna leave now because if I don't it'll probably happen.

I think you're a little confused about the Freeman 451. It's a manual flipper, available in both titanium and aluminium. Not a frame lock, the button unlocks it. Really cool piece, handled one at a knife show this spring. Super fun, super smooth.
