But I wanna be cool too! (The titanium framelock flipper thread) got pics??

I think you're a little confused about the Freeman 451. It's a manual flipper, available in both titanium and aluminium. Not a frame lock, the button unlocks it. Really cool piece, handled one at a knife show this spring. Super fun, super smooth.
Whaaaat? That's so cool! You're right I was confused I saw the button and was like oh ok that's how it opens I had no idea it was a lock and didn't even notice the flipper tap. Pretty cool, I wasn't familiar with that model

Not a bad place to start from what I've read on here.

Same here (again)! Generally, I personally find many of the ZT's too chunky for my taste, but man oh man, do I love the the lines of the 0452CF...and that action!

I've been on a Benchmade binge lately, but I'm thinking that sometime next year, I'll also pick up its little brother the 0450CF so I can have that same beautiful design in a handier EDC package (not that the 0452CF doesn't see it's fair share of pocket time)!

Ckf Gratch.

Going to mod the blade soon, though it looks good in this shot in my opinion.

As i posted this i remembered its not exactly a framelock... Its a titanium liner lock with an insert and its nicely executed. If i take scale off, it will look like a framelock. Hard to disengage this one accidently while cutting and twisting and when you hold the knife you still put pressure on the lockbar like as if conventional framelock.

I've been looking at the 0450 as well, but I worry that it might not have enough handle to be comfortable for my xl sixes hands. I'm hoping we see an 0451 that's in between the two (perhaps 3.75ish blade?) at some point in the not to distant future. I'd definitely be in for one of those. :)

This is one I have paid for and am waiting for it to be made. It ships in early November I hope lol. I've been counting the days. However the price these went for for the first run was Amazing!! Well under your $200 Max and it's got some big names attached to it. It's The Farrum Forge Falcon here's a few Pictures MD-35357_20170411161103_879b729019d318a8.jpg MD-35357_20170403134328_d4df47009408a046.jpg page_20170419105825.jpg

Hey Hex!!
I understand your concerns with the 450. If you'd like, hit me up and I'll ship you mine for a few weeks to check out.
It's not for sale, so there is no pressure.
Let me know brother!

Same thoughts here on the 450. Went with the 460, I'm able to get a 4 finger grip. Would like to try the 450. Just not sure about that ''pinky horn''.

Yeah, the pinky horn is my concern as well. The 0452 fits my hand so well that it's tough to imagine the smaller 0450 being comfortable.

Same here; even if they just pushed the size to a 3.5" blade and lengthened the handle to at least 4.5" I would be super happy. As it is, the 0450/0450CF is still a pretty appealing package, appealing enough for me to hopefully pick one up in the (relatively) near future and try it out.
