Buyer BEWARE

I request a Porsche
I request a Panerai
I request a Todd Begg Custom
I request World Peace

But I would never request a "Moderator Lock down"

at least without stating why I felt it would be necessary

Ya' had any luck on those first 4 "wolf" ? .... :D

Requesting a moderator lock down.

Did a little snooping around and found:

A member here has given me a negative on I Trader that is....not right.
I never sold or agreed to sell anything to this individual. He is pissed because he is on my ignore list, and I would not sell to him.
Can this neg be erased, please? Referring to this thread:

He got burned by ARAK too!

I screwed it up - fixed.

Because at this point, the subject is worn out and has been resolved.

Beating a dead horse seems to be the only purpose of continuing.

That is why.

What dead horse? We now have the end result (final sale, no returned knife) and now this serves as a warning to anyone else if he should try to buy from them again.

OK, it's really not worth debating/arguing/discussing.
Agreed, ARAK is a turd.

Yes I read the whole thing. Don't get angry with me, that's just my opinion. I've had my fill of vendors sending out products that don't pass muster. It happens far too often and the buyer often gets screwed out of shipping fees, even though they did everything they were supposed to.

I used to be a lot more patient about this. But in the last couple months I had to return two out of four knives to one vendor. I'm happy to provide pics if anyone's interested. I'm different from the buyer in this case though, in that I won't splatter the name of the vendor all over the internet whining about what a raw deal I got. That's just plain chickenshit.

A different vendor sent me a "new" knife complete with corrosion and he refused to deal with it, although that was more of a social experiment; you can read about that one in the "BM boycott?" thread in TGTB&TU.

Tippet, can you give a link to this. I'd like to read it but I can't find it.... :o

Thanks in advance,

Yeah it's just irritating as all get out, corrosion underneath parts that don't come off easy. To do it right I'll have to grind off the pin ends and take it apart, get new pins I think. Never done it before. The guy totally misrepresented the item. Ah well.

Wow, thanks for the link and info guys.

Yeah Tippet, I'd say you got the real short end of the stick on that one, :(
