I concur. If Ben doesn't return the money over the weekend, I'm good for $10 also. This forum is about helping each other, a brotherhood of sorts, not taking advantage of each other.

Do the right thing Ben.

But that's not necessary...this is also a matter of principals....he has my money, I need him to give it back to me.
I sent him an email 5 minutes ago to ask one more time to refund my money...I hope I can convince him to give me the money back so this misery can end...
I am tired of this...all I wanted was to buy a knife that is not available in my country....that's all.
 
I sent Tom a visitor message hoping he would do the right thing and return the $100 to Ingels82, but as he has responded to others and to my message, he feels that this is not a problem for him.

I would be willing to pitch in $10 as well to Ingels82.
 
I'll pitch in 10, and gladly buy OP dinner and beers the next time I make it to Belgium.

I just do not understand why the seller chose this path over $100 with 50+ positive feedback.

Definitely.
As such, the money has been refunded. With the time difference, Engels might be abed and not see the notification from PayPal.
I will say that i never considered it a chance to get easy money. I also know my reputation is shot and am now ignored by a lot of people, but I also noticed the good people that where willing to do good.

Tom, thank you for your response.
I will leave a Message here as soon as i get a Message from paypal that the money has been transfered.
I really wish this all never happened...
Hopefully we can leave all this behind us.
Also, I would like to ask all the persons who have ignored Tom due to this thread reconsider their opinion when i leave message here that I have received the money on my PayPal account.
I am going to sleep now, I wake up in approx 7-8 hours and I will look at my Paypal.
I will leave a message here asap when the money has arrived.

Ok, i just received Message from paypal.
Tom payed me the 100$ back, via G&S, so i hope he doesn't claim it back :) or I have to make a new thread :)
I am very relieved that this is sorted out.
As i said: please do not ignore Tom anymore in your lists.
In his email he explained me some of his private life and it is not always black and white...
I want to apologise to Tom for the efforts he made, and after all thank him for refunding me the money!
I am happy we sorted this out!
I think Tom is a genuine 100% reliable seller in the USA, sadly enough it turned out otherwise when handling overseas.
So please do not ignore Tom.
Also, I want to thank all of you! I never witnessed this...raising funds...it shows how beautiful forums like these are, all over the world...
Also for the moral support, thank you all!
I will now send a personal email to Tom to say thanks.
