C Ben Susrool is ok! Problems solved!

Man, it would have been so much easier just to say "No, I won't ship to Belgium but thank you for asking".

This guy because he knowingly cheated and will not refund because the buyer is outside the US deserves a negative. His "terms" are ridiculous.

If I were the OP I would not rush to issue a negative. There is plenty of time to get to that if needed. Sure the seller has said he was not going to refund the money, but I wouldn't hold him to that statement. Hopefully he will see the positive thing to do is refund it, or maybe a friend of his can help him see the light.
The best thing to do is make the OP whole(as far as money), leaving only time and effort lost-which has happened to many a deal

Ok I agree maybe give time before the negative but the seller said it himself that he will not refund the $100. After reading that if I'm the buyer that's a negative 👎

Seller's words:

I am determined he will not get $100 from me.
I have to ask.....WHY???

I guess because he likes $$$?

To the seller - there is one way to get yourself out of the mud without eating crow: ask a close friend or a family member to Paypal the buyer $100. You can even pretend that you have no knowledge of that.

I am not planning to give him a negative feedback yet...all I want is to recover my money...
I don't even know the guy, I do not hate him or something like that...
But he is just unfair...
also the fact that he is calling me a liar, and that I started to bitch and wine is starting to work on my nerves...
I guess, Tom, if we would switch rolls and i took 100$ from you, you wouldn't start bitching and wining huh?
No, you'd say well done bro?
I just want my money back, no emails will follow with hate mail, no negative feedback, and I will personally mention it in this thread that I got my money back from you...
And like I said before: I sincerely apologise for the effort you made and the 'trouble' you had...
But please.... refund me the money.
And I am also thankful for the lessons learned: never ever will I pay with PayPal again as F&F...
Although I always did in the USA, Germany, France, holland, Austria,UK, Belgium, Spain,....without any problems....

Thanks for posting the emails of what transpired. Didn't seem like any bitching or whining happened at all as the seller alluded to. The hole the seller is digging keeps getting deeper and deeper....

Thanks Jsega51.
I actually hate doing this but I hate it when someone takes money from me...
But who doesn't, right?

Since it was not a completed transaction I don't think a negative can be left anyway according to the rules.

I have never bought or sold here but would gladly put up the first $10 to help the OP get his $100 back.

It would have been easier just to say no but it was still pretty easy to say yes, take $100, back out on the deal and then keep the money. There was an obvious language barrier and Tom thought he could get some easy money... which he did. I wonder if Tom considers himself a Christian.

The mods would have to determine if a negative feedback is warranted. Tom took money and never shipped the knife.

Tom bought a knife from me last month and I'd be 2nd in line to donate $10 of that money toward the $100 for the OP.

If I remember correctly the Mods have a problem with people raising money like this. I believe it is something that has to be approved 1st.
Though it is a nice gesture

The buyer should never have accepted the terms. But I do think that the money should be returned.

...Now, mr. Tom does not want to answer to this thread, but calls me a liar and says I accused him of being a thief...

I don't understand. You did accuse him of being a thief. From your screen grab of the emails...
I do not know how about you Tom... you probably earn your money by stealing it. But I have to work hard for my money. I am also going to give you a bad evaluation at bladeforum and every other american forum i know. This is theft!

Since $100 was paid. A transaction did occur.

I stand corrected on the transaction part. Offer stands for the $10 towards restitution for the buyer. I truly don't think he fully understood the terms not being from the US.

It is a nice gesture. But as the OP clearly wanted this particular knife, another nice gesture would be for someone in the US to buy it from Tom (if he still has it) and ship it to Belgium for the original price.

Maybe if that happened, Tom would feel able to return the 100 bucks and no-one would be out anything.
