Cabela's AG Stag 110s...

I will post a photo of mine, too. Assuming I can figure out how to do that. Any tips would be appreciated.

It shipped from Wisconsin yesterday via USPS priority mail. Maybe tomorrow, maybe Thursday (?).

Mine arrived today. I'm very pleased. Not real gnarly stag, but good and thick and well matched. The box looks like it has lived a rough life, banged up and taped shut multiple times. This may be my most favorite factory sheath. This sheath is different than my wood handled AGs. Click pic two times for your highest level of enjoyment.

There's one in the bay for sale right now as well; first one I have ever seen listed.

On the AG wood handle ones in S30V it looks like Paul Bos was used for the heat treating. The Graham Bros use him exclusively on all their customs. Is the bos stamp on the blade on the stag handle ones?

The Paul Bos stamp is on all of the S30V and other stuff that is not 420HC. He oversees all of the heat treating.

Nice knife 2T,

Hmmmm both of my AG 110 stag's came in the black LE box. Can you show a photo of all the papers you got with that knife and the lable on your box?

I have a weakness for the stag handle, and this one sure looks good except the goldish AG emblem on the blade. YMMV, but to me detracts. Of course thats just me, dislikeing that sort of thing. Question: Is that the above mentioned sticker that would easily peel off without deleterious effect? If its something else, can it be removed easily and completely with disturbing the blade finish?

The yellow AG logo on the blade is not a sticker; it is painted on. I had originally considered removing mine as well, but it has kinda grown on me, so I think I'll keep it. There is a thread here on ways to remove it without affecting the blade, and you might find that through the search mode. As I recall, it required the use of paint thinner. You might PM Pack Rat as I think he successfully removed his. Good luck and let us know how it turned out!

I should have clarified. Mine does have the AG logo, but does not have the sticker that Flatlander's had. JB I will post a pick of the papers when I can.

So Tony,

Your AG came from Cabela's in that box? Is the box correctly marked for a Stag AG?
If'n it is, maybe Cabela's actually did another order of these knives. g

With any luck, mine should be showing up sometime in the next five or six hours. Now you've got me curious to see what box I get.

My knife arrived about 15 minutes ago. Due to technical difficulties, I can't post photos, but a pic is on its way to Flatlander, who kindly agreed to post it for me.

As noted by others, it's not the gnarliest piece of stag I own, but the heft of it is pretty amazing. I got the black "special edition" box, which looks brand new. Some tarnish on the bolsters, but considering that it's just been sitting around for a couple of years is easily understood . . . And remedied.

Great knife! I am really loving it!

Mine just came in. Black box. Very nice sheath. Stag OK. Heavy tarnishing.
The action is not so smooth. I really have to depress the button to get it to release. Maybe needs to be adjusted if possible.
Blade locks up tight.
No Camera so no pics.
