Cabela's AG Stag 110s...

I'll be darned. Looks like I got the crappiest box left. I guess that's what I get for getting in so late. I'm sure it was a return Here is what I got...

Holy cow, that box looks like somebody backed their car over it. And it's not even the right box!

But at least you've still got a nice knife!

Tony,

It looks like the sticker is correct. Huummhhh.
I wish Joe would chime in on this box business.

The Stag AG is still up on the Cabela's site. Maybe they did make a second order with Buck.

min wage sales people?
have run in to that several times my sef!

Date code from blade 2007. Date from box June 2006. Probably restocked 1/29/2009.

Mine came yesterday. The stag is really beautiful (in my opinion) and I'm really happy with it. It has the 2004 date stamp on it.It came in a black and yellow box that was pretty shabby and the stag on the logo side was nearly covered up by two stickers. I was able to peel them off and get the residue off with some lighter fluid. The bolsters had quite a bit of "patina", but some cottom balls and Flitz took care of that.
I have the day off tomorrow, so I'll try to get some photos posted.

Samael, that was a good deal... ... I see they stiill have some Cabela's AG 110s S30V Stag Folders for sale... ... So you still have time to get one or save your money for the new 2009 knives.... :) ...

I was in the Cabela's in Glendale, AZ today and they had one in the display case. It was mislabeled as the Vanguard but after lots of searching the guy found the correct sheath and sku number. Since it didn't come with the paperwork or outer box I got 10% off.
The knife was made in 2004 and the blade markings were a little dirty and the brass needs polishing but the stag is nice and thick and unblemished. All in all I'm happy.

Excellent! (BTW, the more I hear about Cabelas' retail stores, the happier I am that the store in Denver fell through. Sounds like they're all a bunch of morons.)

They are fun places to go and besides the knife, I bought two other things, all from the bargain cave. On the most part I think things are over priced and you can get a better warranty on things from REI (They have a nice Denver store) and L.L Bean. Even if you don't buy they are, like I said, fun places to visit and if there were one in my town, I would probably spend too much money on their overpriced, under-warrantied merchandize. :p

I'll post pics tomorrow. I just decided to Google the knife and the Cabela's page now says "out of stock". I checked the site on my iPhone this afternoon when I was at the store and it didn't say out of stock then.

I think that I may have bought the last one.

WOW!!! You got waaaaayyyy nicer stag than I got Chad. Very impressive. Mine is not that knarly....... mine scales are almost smooth. I will post pics of mine when I get a chance.

Nice grab.

Take care, Mike Arnold

Thanks. I am very happy with this. About 3 years ago I was thinking of ordering a custom knife very similar to this but put it off. When I went back looking to do it again the price had almost doubled. I am glad that I was able to get a similar knife at a good price.

And yeah, the stag does look real nice, doesn't it? ;)

To make a long story short - I stopped by the Lacey, WA Cabela's, today, and bought a stag Alaskan Guide 110 knife. It was the display model and they had no more. I got it for 99 bucks and then got a 10% military discount. They could not find the box or sheath so they took a sheath from a wood handled AG and gave me that but still no box. I feel as giddy as a school girl. Don't hate me..... BBJ
