Cabela's AG Stag 110s...

Heres my two. I have them about 2 years. One is on display the other has been on my belt for 2 years. Love it.

Nice. I really like the stag on the knife on the left. Nice Vanguard too; I also have one with the rosewood handle, but it's an AG in S30V as well.

Thanks for sharing.

Kyhunt, nice AG 110s... I too like the the one stag on the left... But I like the Blade that's not Black more.. Well it doesn't look Black in the pic that is... :)

Thanks for sharing,
ITE

Last night I pulled out my AG 110 and was fondling it when I happened to pull out the 2 pieces of paper in the bottom of the box. The wrong COA was in there. It was for the Alpha Dorado.......not the 110. It is not a big deal as I dont plan to sell the knife, but when it does eventually get handed down to my son, it would be nice for the correct certificate to be in there. I'll bet there is an AG folding Alpha dorado owner out ther who would like to swap papers with me. Unfortunately, I ordered the knife through the Cabela's website, so, there is no resolution with them.

Take care, Mike Arnold

Geez, you're up "dark and early," as I like to say. You just about gave me a heart attack there - had to check to see what I got, but (whew!) it's correct. Wouldn't it be funny if the guy who owns the AG folding alpha is a BF member and is reading this?

The Lacey Cabela's couldn't find the box so I didn't get a cert, as well. They took a sheath out of a wood handled AG so some body down the line will not get a proper sheath. They obviously don't hire knife nuts and sticklers for proper inventory control.

The gals at Post Falls run a tight ship.

The one on the left is my carry. The other one does actuallt have a lighter color blade. The Vanguard actually is also a AG with the finish completely removed.

Kyhunt, on that lighter color blade is it a light black or  ... That one sure looks good with that AG logo on a light blade with stag...

As a total aside to the original theme, the Cabela's AG stag mini-Alpha is reduced in price now - it may be on the way out, too.

Its almost a deep gray color instead of black. The finish on it is also more brushed and not so glossy. I'm not sure if it was suppose to be like that but I really like it. I actually like the blade on that one a little better but the one I carry was a gift from wife and kids and it does have a little nicer stag. I have no complaints with either. The AG line is really sweet.

UPDATE: Per my conversation with Cabela's Customer Service half an hour ago, these knives are officially gone. Out of stock. Kaput. No more.

Awww, bummer.

(Now if I only hadn't blown another $136 on their Beretta Loveless drop-point hunter, it would have been a perfect day. But oh well, it's only money, right?)

I never got one... Everytime I was going to order one I would find some more knives that I couldn't pass up... It's like the new 09s, I want to buy a few of them but I keep finding more good deal on older knives... I'll get a AG 110 stag some day off the bay or in a trade... :D

I know it's an old thread guys but I just went on cabelas site and they're still offering the AG 110 with rosewood scales.

I think you've got the Alaskan Guide confused with the Pro Line. I just went to their site and didn't see any AG 110s.

You, sir, are absolutely correct. My apologies. (Wonder why it didn't show up in my search.)

I've never seen one of these before. Huh. You learn something new every day.
