Camillus and Schrade of Old Given Short Shrift Now-A-Days

These may not be anything very fancy, and certainly not rare, but Schrade knives they are.
The synthetic Ivory handle knife with the two Raccoon figures, is a knife that an older gentleman gave me some years back as a random gift to me.
I knew their vintage at some point, but that info now escapes me. I imagine them to be around 1980'ish... Again, no longer sure on that.
They are both well made American knives... I see them as little pieces of Americana

Camillus made some stately skyscrapers!! At nearly 4 1/4", this knife has some interesting features; Washington Bolsters, the Sword Brand etch, and an old curved stamp on the pen blade - not to forget about an acre of great Jigging!!

Look underneath the raccoon on the right side and you will see an artist's signature and date. Looks like "81" to me.

I guess you could say the knife had to be made sometime after '84.

How about before the early ‘60s? My Great Grandfather pocketed this Camillus daily, until he passed about 1962. It does well for me. These two others (Case was Dad’s) are also favorites of mine.

If it were "real scrimshaw" done after manufacture, that would be true, but this series of Scrimshaw Schrades were stamped Delrin.

If that knife is a 507 Lockback with raccoons, 1984 looks right. (the chart is a little tricky, and I might need my reading glasses)

If I were the sort to name my knives, this Schrade Cut Co Walden NY might be named "Itchycoo Park", because "it's all too beautiful".
