Camillus and Schrade of Old Given Short Shrift Now-A-Days

Camillus 1760 stamped 1991. Issued to me on Basic Training in 1999 but they switched to Gerber’s shortly afterwards so didn’t want it back when I got out. Not the prettiest thing, but functional, and very durable.

I agree Cal. My overall preference is the slightly longer and more serpentine shaped 897UH (and Old Timer 93OT Wrangler as well as any 18 pattern Case). That said, my second favorite Medium Stockman are these Schrade 34 frame variations (and the nearly identical Camillus made vintage Buck Cadet 303). Great size gentleman's pocketknife.

Here is an 832 open stock knife in wood grained Delrin. Same size as the 834UH.

Those "wood" Delrin knives are not common. Your example Jeff is very nice and you have the photography skill. They did an electrician knife for Craftsman with similar covers and this set of 804 pattern whittlers.

In my collection I have only one with the unique Delrin handles that Jeff’s 832 and Cal’s knives display above, a S-W 896K.
