Can anyone here make this knife for me?

I agree, this isn't the type of knife I carry, but the creative process exhibited here keeps me coming back.

the #20 is onley 3.45" in length so i think it fits your need for somthing short. the onley problem i could see is the there is not a lot of meterial between the blade and the first finger hole. now the #21 is 3.52 but probabley could be shorted to the length of the #20 it just would not be as sharp of a tip which might be good so it will be stronger on push or tip work.

Yeah, those latest pics are very true to the original design. They are fine if you are looking for the most compact design. The one I have on hand is 3.5 inches long.

I must be missing something. The dimensions on the original diagram you posted on pg 2 of this thread put the overall length at 3.375".The shortest one here is 3.45".Are the finger holes bigger on the #21 model ? I'm just wondering how come they look so different.
The # 20 model looks good but could you extend the bottom part of the blade so that the top and bottom angles are equal lengths. So if you drew a line straight down from the top back portion of the blade to the bottom it would look like a perfect triangle.Hope I explained that right.
I like how you rounded off the top back corner.

I printed out the original design and I've been comparing it to the #21 model and I think I see why they don't look identical.I think the bottom radius needs to be closed more so it's more like three quarters of a circle and that'll allow more blade material and you'll be able to shorten the overall length some more.I think that'll help with the #20 model as well.I apologize if I'm being too much of a pain.

what i have noticed is that the picture of the origanial blade was taken at an angle and not straight down so this changes the look of the dimetions. also it think the bottom hole is biger than the finger holes pushing the blade forward thus increesing the edge angle. on sunday i did a drawing of this knife while i was in church an i was able to get it down to 3" long by droping the back part of the edge down to the same length as the back handle. ill scan it into the computer and post it tonight.

O happy day, O happy day. I got my 1" dril bit today and man is it a beast. now i have another peoblem which is finding a drill that will fit its shank which is 1/2".

ok im allmost done with my wallet knife, man i must say a 1" dril bit is a bear to handle. i did not have a drill press so i used one of the huge mamth drills to do the holes. i could not get allthe way through through with the drill bit. the blade kept grabing and spinning. i was runin at low speed, will i get better results going high speed. ill post the finished knife to night

I'm am here and waiting. :D

i know the supense must be killing you, im sorry about taking so long. good news is i got a new job and i will onley be working 40 hrs a week and i will get 2 days off a week, my other job i wooked every day and had very little time to do knives. i realy need a dril press bad because using a hand drill to drill my 1" holes was probabley worse then fileing out the hole. so im trying to clean up the holes so there round. once i get a dril press this wont be a problem. this design im doing is a small compact design for my self to see if i was up to the task, this knife actualy fits insite my credit card slot in my wallet which is where i plan on keeping it. hang in there im about there

im thinking about puting a convex grind on this blade, any objections. i like the convex grind better because its eayser to sharpen in the field and also its easer to grind. i also think it has a very good edge.

ok i know i have been keeping you waight long so here you go. its not done all the way yet and im not very happy with the finger holes. thay will be perfect when i get my dril press. so here you go.

its still at 60 grit and i think im going to take the whole knife up to 600 grit and role the edge bevle into the knife so that if a full convex grind.

Looks like its coming along nicely. What is the thickness of the metal? Sorry if its already been posted. I carry a bill fold with a credit card pocket in it. But I'm thinking that may be a little thick for it. If it is, no worries, ill make it into a nice little necker.

its 1/8" thick, i have put it in my wallet and that is where i plan on keeping it. now you might have noticed that this knife is just a hair over 3". it fits niceley in my wallet. also you probabley noticed that the back of the edge is lower than the original design, this is to provide a better grip and give a larger blade area by keeping the edge far away from the first finger hole.
