Can it be done?

Long time lurker, 1st post. I've been carrying a Gerber Folding Sportsman II trailing point with an original Flicket from CKC since the late '70's. Still sharp enough to shave hair and the brass is still shiny from pocket polish. Old school, brass, wood and American made steel. Gerber/Portland OR 97223, USA. My Sunday knife is a small Bowen single blade lockback folder with stainless steel bolsters and black micarta scales. It fine polished inside the liners, Bowen Knife, Atlanta U S A, etched on the blade, Bowen U S A on the tang and R 1306B on the obverse tang. Still tight and sharp. I want to be buried with it when I die.
 
Recently--my SAK copper Cadet for 3 years--it's my 'loaner' as well as my nail file; and my Lone Wolf Jeff Angelo Fluted Folder for 4 years--it's MY backup.
My main knife varies a lot depending on what I'm doing, where I'm going, and how I'm feeling.

I have been carrying a Barlow that belonged to my Grandpa for at least two years along with a case trapper that I recieved as a gift.
I carried a Case Sharktooth for about 8 years during High School and college .I still have it.
 
Still carrying an Al Mar ultra-lite Eagle going on 8 yrs. Still as tight as it was new.
 
Carried a SAK Spartan for 20+ years. Just retired it because of the memories. I almost lost it at an airport. I forgot to check it. Luckily I had a friend at still at the airport. They FedEx'd it to me :)
 
Gin-1 Endura for two or three years. BM Panther for about five years. BM Pinnacle for two years. Then I started spending too much money and rotating a stable of EDCs. :)
 
I kept the same Frn Spydie Delica on my keychain for about 12 years, it still lives , it just got changed out to something a bit smaller ( a new byrd)

I carried an old model CS Ultralock for 3 years, a SAK Tinker at work for 13 years, Spyderco Calypso Jr. for 6 years.
 
I had a FRN PS Delicia 2 for several years before it was confiscated and stolen by mall security.
For years I tried to find a knife that fit as well abd never did. Now I am to spoiled and have
several nice EDC folders and fixed blades. I usually EDC my Scrapyard SS4 or when I have to carry a folder I have a few spydies a Emerson and a Lambert custom to choose from.
I don't get the same feeling from them though that I did from that first Delicia 2.
 
I carried a BM Mini Stryker every day from from '98 to '03 and was happy. :) Then I replaced it with a Mini Dark Star, and I was even happier.:cool: Then I found this place and bought dozens of knives, still happy, but somewhat poorer.:D
 
I've carried a Victorinox Soldier every day for nearly four years. My only large EDC since January '06 has been a Benchmade 710... that's almost two years.

Until the 710 came along I switched out EDC's every several months, but the Soldier always rides in the left pocket regardless.

These two knives do everything I want them to.

What the? I carried a Spyderco Police for 14 years too.
 
I've been carrying the same SAK Spartan for over twelve years, and a large Sebenza for almost eight.
