can someone explain to me why there is a maxpedition boycott?

I have nothing of value but I wanted to be part of this incredibly long thread.

Hey here is a sample of Cliff Testing a MAD DOG Knife:

This is the MAD DOG ANti-Cliff Blade. Specifically designed to bite back.

"Hey here is a sample of Cliff Testing a MAD DOG Knife"

Best line of the whole thread! but I wouldn't wish a blade like that on anyone, not even Cliff.

How about "Here's a sample of Mad Dog testing a MAD DOG Knife -- now you know why he's so bitter that Striders don't break!"

True, but we would never know it as MD would destroy the negative results for none to see.

I watched something similar to that happen a few days ago, my brother gave a blade a light pop with a hammer to check the shock resistance, the tip popped up and hit him right in the knuckle. Not as drastic as the video, but still pretty funny.

I'm always worried about a blade breaking like that when it flexes. Thankfully he wasn't hurt. I am not sure how badly hurt the Knifeshow guy in the video was. I remeber watching it when it happened. I just about blew my soda through my nose.

It concerns me on some flexing work, I usually run a strip of tuct tape down the blade to prevent sharding. The sword break is just really lame, how did they recover from that on the air and continue to sell the blades?

Hi All-

Going back to page 9 or 10 on this thread...some of the knives are marked "M. Strider" or "D. Dwyer" on the ricasso. Is the shop comprised of just those two guys or is there a chance one could get a knife built by one of the other staff? Just curious.

The knives marked Strider are the regular Strider handmade production knives.
The one marked with M.Strider or D.Dwyer are the customs are are higher priced accordingly.

I dont believe you can get a custom from their employees.
Though actually, if you want one made by them, that is who makes the regular ones.

But, Dave, those have that terrible name on them.

Here are borebrush's “pogues.”
???

When and where did I ever say all that? You were very eloquent in describing every non-infantry MOS, but thats not how I would define a pogue. I've known alot of admin clerks, cooks, and motorT Marines who made fine Marines. I never considered them Pogues because they thought and acted like warriors. In fact I knew a few Grunts who made fine Pogues, which was unfortunate for thier platoons...

Evidently you don't get IT. Continue to do your thing, and twist others words in your own condescending way. I don't care. Oh BTW... whats with that whole Native American wise crack? If I had said that I would have been banned. Oh how I love the double standards...

I don’t have the extended amount of time nor the patience. I thought that I was very specific in that post. Evidently not.

Let me break it down, on an elementary level, so that it’s more understandable, for you.

“Pogue” = uncalled for and unnecessary derogatory term that shines a poor light on some great folks.

Wise crack. LMAO

Simple question. It’s common knowledge that certain Native American tribes practice shift shape. The “shift shape” comment was based on what you posted here and then ran to another forum and stated something totally different. Evidently, you missed that boat too.

Not surprising.

Ohhhh, the assumptions and drama.

Your statement indicates that you believe that I have special rights here. You’re gravely mistaken. Again, no surprise. :D

Well, borebrush, thanks for your contribution here. To say the least, it has been. . . . .well. . . . .something that’s hard to describe.

LOL! In fact you can even claim there are double standards here and still not get banned. If you want to get yourself banned here you'll have to work at it. It'll take more than a little pinhole in your foil hat.

...wow, dude. Are you serious? Like I said, being a pogue has everything to do with attitude, and little to do with MOS. If some 'non-infantry' servicemen get upset over hearing the term, well they can just get over it. It's not dissimilar to Airborne refering to everyone else as legs (which I fall under that designation) BFD... I have all ready apologized for the statement. It's not as though I wouldn't allow a P* the same rights to the waterfountain I use. Even though you act as though I am.

I don’t have the extended amount of time nor the patience.

You don't? Your posts average around 500 words... I find time constraints unlikely.

How bout I we save you some time and drop it. Like its been said over in our Shape shifting-shift shaping forum, we'd all probably make very good friends.
