Canal Street Puppies

I know shaldag is moving so I am hanging on to his until things have settled.

shaldag asked me to have you send his to moi. . . .so I can further my concrete chopping tests. :D Thomason's broke. :( The knife will not hold up to repeated blade spine strikes with a 20 lb sledge hammer. . . .especially the nail file thingy :D

But can it baton concrete blocks?

shaldag's knives on the way to our new tester.

Gus; For your information only...no panic here. The Wednesday mail has run and the knife is not here. Thanks

Paul

OK, this is my first time trying to download a picture on this site. This is my puppy, it is #10.

The paper that came with it said:

Item: 2196142
Description: 3" Sleeveboard Ring Opener
Completion: 2006
Handle Material: Torched Sambar Stag
Steel: Satin Finish A2

You can read the paper a little on the second photo. Also, on the last photo you might be able to see "B.F.C. 2006", maybe if you have good eyes.

Yup, I am pretty sure I packed 2 knives for someone who ordered one.

I have all the PO receipts.

I may have screwed up.

If any of the above get two knives let me know :D.
I only got one, I guess it was probably one of the 4 people you listed. If it doesn't show up, I will help pay for part of the knife. Hopefully it will show up.

For some reason Bastid send my knife to Gig for testing before sending it on to me. I got it this morning. The tip of the file was broken off. The primary blade was bent at a 45 degree angle and would not close. On one side about half of the scales was missing. On the other side there were cracks running all the way down to liner. Both rings were missing but to Gig's credit he stuck paper clips through the hole in the turning shaft. The action was very gritty due to the residue from the concrete block chopping test. I almost wish Bastid had not sent it to Gig for the test. Gig can be a real hard case. Anyway I was able to fix it up a little so here is a picture for those of you still waiting for yours to arrive.
