He just emailed me again this weekend. This time offering to send out his trade first. I declined.
 
Well, I just got sopped I guess. I made trade with Jimmyspy94. Funny how my knife got there in two days and I haven't gotten mine yet. I mailed on the third, tracking shows he got it on the fifth. It's now the 13th and nothing. He said he mailed it on the third, then on the ninth when I emailed him he said he was out of town and his girlfriend mailed it. On the 11th he said he got my knife and asked if his had arrived. Then no response to two more emails. He even said he sent a Benchmade tshirt with the package. When I went back today I see he's banned. Great! This is the first time I've ever had any sort of issue with hundreds of transactions here and other forums. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt for a couple more days, then it's on!
 
This is a far more worthy mattter for the Postal Inspectors!!!

No wonder the USPS is 8 Billion in the hole...............................

Be very careful with new guys with lots of nice knives to trade.

I had probably made 300 posts in the General Forum before I even discovered that the trading forum existed. When a guy has a post count of 6 and he's offering $300 customs for trades then you need to be extraordinarily cautious.

It's funny how a response of "OK, I'll trade, but you have to ship first" makes so many of them suddenly lose interest.
 
Yes, I should have known better. I have averted many bad transactions by doing my research first, but got lazy on this one. It's certainly not over! I will not be taken without a fight though. I am good friends with the sheriff and he has already told me he will contact the sheriff in TN. I also spoke with my lawyer who is my neighbor. If anyone else has been scammed by this guy and wants in please PM me. This guy needs to pay for such arrogance!
 
Hey guys, I just spoke with Marshall County 931-359-6122 and spoke with the nicest person...Katie Burk. She was very helpful in taking my report and assured me that a deputy will be investigating. She actually knows this guy. She recognized his address. His name is Josh Whittle not "White". It may be helpful for those of you who have been scammed by him to call and report what has happened. The more that call, the more serious they will take this....and it may be possible to get our knives back or at least see something done about this lowlife.
 
Spoke with a detective in Marshall County today. He has been arrested before and the Det. Said he is basically been a lowlife most of his adult life (I think it's pretty safe to assume). To all I have been speaking with: send me a forwarded copy of your email responses and I will forward them to the detective.

Got it Noodlefish. For the other guys who haven't gotten their knives back...send me a list of the knives he has of yours. I just spoke with his mother who seemed a bit shocked. She wants a list of knives he has taken so maybe she and his father can straighten this out. I'm still on with the sheriff, but if this could be resolved peacefully then all the better.

I dealt with the Marshall County Sheriff's office also. They took my information, and I never heard back from them. He got my Spyderco Dyad Jr., black Micarta with pocket clip.

Don't send me idle threats buddy. I have done noone wrong, and i never will. A hell of a delay, yes, but NEVER would I intentionally scam anyone. You don't know me and don't assume to. As far as your Appleby, that piece of shit will be back in the mail today...espacially after I found out the steel came from a Mustang GT !!! LOL, that thing is a true piece of shit. I was out on business, or I would have talked to you. As far as nathan Bernal, the knife I owed him has been shipped, and I will not ship his back until I know where mine are. The ONLY knife i have that should have went back sooner, but I have been away for 10 days is the Appleby, and believe me, I don't want it. I make close to $30 an hour, and yes, I am a single dad, so surely you could figure out by now I am not going to scam someone out of a $70 knife, or any knife, for that matter. First of all, I thought you said I had the wrong guy. That was a lie! Second, you have had my knife for twenty days and have not returned any of my emails. That makes you a thief! You have done the same to others. Nathan, Saejin, Nick, etc... I believe you had every intention of keeping (stealing) all of these knives. You also claimed to be Josh White instead of Whittle so others could not find you. I have spoken with Detective Bragg and he thinks very little of you also. I think it's safe to assume you are basically a lowlife! I feel sorry for your daughter and mother!
