Carbon Fiber, Composite Blade, 0560.

I think you'll see a combination of street and field going forward. Field being overbuilt, street long, fast, and light. We'll find some balance. We're seemingly in street mode currently. I'd put all 3 of the new Blade pieces in that category.

I think that is a pretty neat way of explaining it!

I'm sure your ah....enthusiasm is appreciated but those types of images belong in Whine & Cheese. :)

Ok, pretty harmless IMO, well known scene from an M rated movie.... I would think there are more inappropriate comments but point taken.

I don't care how much it costs, within reason. I'll have one, at least :)

+1

Although I'm still hoping it wont be much more than a regular 0560. I guess what adds to the price is the time for the 3D machining since although the tilt had arguably better steel and also the wire EDM cut, it was still quite a bit cheaper than a 056X.

I'm gonna guess this is going to be close to 300 dollars street, hopefully it will be lower

I just can't see a knife of this Calibre going for that low.
It looks like at least 4-500 worth of knife to me and I'd gladly pay that.

Well considering the 777 is priced at $480 street I cant imagine this being anywhere close to it. I would say about $330 street. Of course this conversation is pure speculation and I'm excitedly awaiting for when all the details are released.

With that said...this knife sizzles...:)

SICK. Just sick. Must have. Do want. Whatever. Gots to have me one.

We've talked pricing on the piece, and final determination will be next week. I would imagine street will be in the low $300's.

Sounds fair to me, the S90V/CF Para 2 was about $80 more than the regular version, not sure how the CB effects pricing though.

Please do up a 550 composite blade. The 560/561 is just a little to big for my liking although THIS knife looks awesome!

I really hope that there will be plenty of these to go around.

I think it should be cheaper than the Tilt, unless they just gee us a super good deal for the Tilts. It has the wire EDM cut lock, which had to be mounted and cut individually. This is a 0560 variant, so the process should be more streamlined, which hopefully turns out to mean more made at a cheaper price. I think the only limitation will be how much S110V is available.

This knife will cost more than the Tilt - there is a lot more machine time in this knife, even though it doesn't need wire EDM work. Any time you see smooth 3D machined handles, it takes more machine time, and that adds to the cost. Carbon fiber is much harder on end mills than G-10 (cutters wear out faster=more cost). Also, don't forget that carbon fiber costs ten times as much as an equal sized piece of G-10.
