Nice animals, JP!! And a wonderful vintage Bike!!
I recognize some of those parts!!:D

Hope you are enjoying the road!!:)
Thank you! The engine is running like a Swiss watch and I enjoyed every moment on the road, except maybe the last 25km on the highway , no other choice. It is tolerated to ride between the cars but you have to be careful and watch the absent-minded who forgets to look in the mirror when changing row without warning.

Glad you made it home OK, JP!! Thanks for taking us on a little trip!!
I like the stops to view old vehicles!!:)

Wonderful pix JP. Glad the bike in in tune, fine cats, fierce rabbit and your daughter lives in a very pretty place, why does she need a holiday??:D

I do, it's getting dark here at 63° North nearly all the time :poop:

Cool pics Jolipapa Jolipapa :)

I get up almost every day between 2 and 2:30 am.

I believe the medical term for this is Geezerius Prostatus. :D

A couple of years ago, I was getting up 3 or 4 times a night. Then, thanks to this thread, I found out I had sleep apnoea rather Geezerius Prostatus! Now I have a CPAP machine, I rarely wake up more than once in the night, and it's usually just to turn over

Thank you Charlie, Will and Jack.
Next time I'll try and make pictures the market day. There's some very old popular cars, that they bought when they were 30, and now they're 80, always drive on the same road, never exceeded the speed limit! :)

C-VieuxPuit.jpg Another interesting place you'll surely miss if you don't know it. Great food, simple, friendly atmosphere, hubby is a Ducati fanatic (like my son).

Extremely nice place for a meal I'll bet Jolipapa Jolipapa

Who knows, in those isolated villages there could be a barn with a fine old Traction Avant lurking in it just waiting for rebirth  A Facel Vega, Hotchkiss or Talbot... Or else, a cache of interesting oldy but goody knives :D

One can dream... but you'd at best find populars, R6 and Ami6, though even 2cvs are much sought after these days.
You make me realize I rarely see a knife except Pakis laguioles and Bulgarian garden knives at the market.:(

I saw a Scrambler Ducati at an antique mall in Bangor, MI a while back. A pleasant and fit-looking young woman had ridden it from Chicago and was trying to stow her purchases, one of which was a saltine cracker tin like we used to buy full of saltine crackers at the grocery store. Too bad I didn't save those, and the 5-lb tin buckets from Shedd's peanut butter.

There's nice people on Ducatis ;)

Jolipapa Jolipapa great pictures I love it when folks post pictures of the areas they live gives a little glimpse of places most of us will never see otherwise. So thanks so much for posting JP and that's a fine bike you have there my friend.

You're welcome Randy! I think exactly the same when I come here!

Beautiful pics JP....the old round tower immediately made me think Rapunzel Rapunzel let down your hair!..
:thumbsup::D
There's a young French surfie dude at the place I'm living...he was telling me about how pollution regulations in France make it expensive to run old cars whilst here the older and cheaper the better....although some old cars especially the V8s are precious metal and command insane prices.
Cheers.

The postman just delivered the Lodge enameled dutch oven. Made in China. I'm pissed off.

I bought one for my wife for Christmas several years ago. Maybe 2010 or thereabouts. She has used it a lot and just cooked a roast in it on Sunday.

Hers is just like the one in this pic except the knob on the lid is black. I never even thought to see where it was made. I'll have to try to remember to look when I get home.

Thank you! No princess in the tower :( (and no wicked witch)!

New regulations in Paris forbid me to ride monday-friday, 8-20h or be fined 135€. Usualy cops turn the head or have a chat like Jack stated. Except the b.....ds on pushbike who must be frustated  and take some pleasure when they catch you!
I don't like to ride the Commando downtown because of silly drivers and traffic jams which she does not like, engine overheating, etc. Vintage cars and bikes may ask for a new registration card to be allowed for in-week circulation. I might ask for one some day. To compensate I don't have to pay for buses or trams.
