"Carl's Lounge" (Off-Topic Discussion, Traditional Knife "Tales & Vignettes")

That one made me laugh, thanks.

Hopefully it will all be over soon, and I can get my truck back, and both of them will be in jail. The truck will immediately go in for a full detail cleaning including the shampooing of the carpets and seats. Just a nightmare.

Man, sorry to hear that John. That sucks.

On the other hand, once you have it back, you'll have all the ingredients to write a hit country song about the experience.:(;)

JohnDF JohnDF , What a bummer, John! Hope it all comes out in the wash!:D

Out filling my bird feeders earlier, the Turkeys show no shyness when I toss some seed on the snow. Like feeding pigeons in the park! I'm at least partially responsible for their plumpness!

That's a great picture Gary:cool: I had a standoff with one in particular while delivering furniture out in the country one time. As he tried to walk around the front of the truck I'd ease forward, then he'd reverse course and try the rear of the truck and I'd back up a bit. He actually became quite vocal:eek::D

Thanks, Paul. That's a funny tale. I guess they aren't intimidated easily.

I haven't been accosted yet. Maybe it's the old "Don't bite the hand that feeds you!" axiom.

They sure can be loud though! We hear them squabbling and chasing each other around quite often. They roam the neighborhood here, and visit our property multiple times a day to forage whatever they can.

Do you get to shoot one for thanksgiving? :D

Thanks guys. Just returned from doing the police report. Apparently the owner let's "ladies of the evening" use customer's vehicles in exchange for "favors". Last the police heard, my truck and the "lady" were up in Reno at the casinos.

That's obviously his take on the word Body Shop:cool::D:D Could be worse, might have been stolen by a morgue or undertakers:eek:;)

I'm sure your truck will be OK, friend of mine had a car stolen in a hot climate and the joy riders emptied a couple of milk cartons over the upholstery, that stink never went away!:(

See, I just can't "like" your post now. Thanks for putting that thought into my head :p

While I was on my Seattle trip, one of the valet drivers scratched the bumper on my truck. The hotel offered to pay to have it fixed. I finally got around to taking it into the auto body shop. They just called me, one of their employee's kids stole it from the lot. Just not my day

Oh no! What a nightmare! Hope it's all sorted out soon John

LOL! :D Yep, name and shame them!

Our friend broke a large container of milk in her (1 1/2 year old) SUV.
After numerous professional cleanings, she traded it in!! Bad!!!

Squirrels and turkeys gathering at the bird feeders - my emergency food supply if all goes into a hole. They are trusting enough to club. No matter, I hope to never need to call it an emergency. I like these neighbors :)

Great picture, they must feel safe in knowing that Thanksgiving has passed. :)

I started the insurance process on my truck. If it stays gone for two weeks they will pay it off and I can start over. The sad part is, I just spent a few thousand on a lift, wheels, and tires for that thing. I won't get that money back :(

You should be able to claim your upgrades, with receipts and depreciation, of course.:)
