About 10 days back I lost my little Case Peanut and haven't been able to find he little bugger. The peanut had just started to take on a nice little patina too. Since the peanut was my only traditional its kinda been hard to put any of my modern folders into my pocket. It ended up that I only threw one in my pocket Saturday when I went to work for my uncle at a Flea market. With my work being extremely anti-knife the peanut was nice to carry because no one knew that I had it and could get away with using it for small things like cutting up my lunch without it being a hassle to hide it from everyone. I have yet to figure out what I am going to do about a replacement. Being a college student it isn't exactly like I have disposable income to be buying different traditionals so it will be interesting to see what I end up deciding to do.
I`ve lost my Peanut as well a couple of weeks ago. Feels really bad man. I got another one the same day, but it doesn`t feel the same. My advice would be is to save up, and get another one, preferable one with the same handle material.
Man i wish there was a company that made the Congress pattern with the blades of the Case, the F&F and steel of the GEC and the Pearl handles of a Fight`n`Rooster. Preferably made in Germany. Been looking at Congress` knives all week, and can`t find the one I want.
Thank God for AC. It is sweltering out there.
Aww, come on Dan, it's just a little warm out there. Sure ya don't want to meet up at the Lisbon Grill and grab a nice table out in the sun and eat some nice hot BBQ?
Carl.
A Muskrat with one backspring, carbon steel, bone handles up to 4". US or German made. Any recoomendations?
