What must fire insurance cost in California? I could ask my cousin. That would cheer her up.
She still has her house, but she's keeping her car packed.

If you live in a fire zone in California, it's almost impossible to get insurance.

Our daughter lived in Daphne AL for four years. I’m certainly glad she’s not living there now! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Joshua!

5.5 feet of inundation at Pensacola weather observatory. We’re inland here and have a little flooding in the garage and no power. The eye is about to pass over us in the next hour or so. No generator, unfortunately, but we’re doing ok.

We’re through. Power outage, some water in the garage, and lots of debri. I’ll have to check the roof carefully soon, but I couldn’t spy anything from the ground. Keep praying for Pensacola though because they had lots of flooding.

Covid took the gym away from me Frank, gotta shave the calories off some where. Just got back in to the gym the other week and so much strength was lost.

I've been very busy those last days at sawing, splitting and stacking heat wood.

While i was at that, i've stacked some beers, what would be a hot stove without a good beer?

Knife content with the F&F pocket carver which isn't only a great whittler. It excels as well at removing splinters from my hands.

Winter may come, i'm ready.

The Scourmont Abbey is at less than 10 miles from my home. It's a local beer. You find them in food stores, not directly from the Abbey. A great beer indeed, i can't compare to others, when i drink a beer it's rarely an other one.
