Went to town and took my cadet with me in sympathy for your situation.

Coffee is from a proper Italian café with a little bit of sun outside in the wind.


I also took lots of small packets of biscuits for the homeless.

One asked me outside KFC if I had anything to eat.

When I offered him some biscuits he said "I love them my nickname is Biscuits" so I just gave them all to him and said pass them around if you get fed up with them.

I love it when things like that happen. 😁






 
It does seem to be running much better this morning. Only hitch was after I posted what I was carrying today, I hit the edit button to edit my post and it re-posted my post on the next page.

Spark hired an outside consultant company to come in and fix the issues. They started working yesterday morning. There's an announcement header at the top of the page that says things may be stop-and-go while they are identifying the problems the site has been having and identifying what needs to be done to fix them. Some of the items may be hardware fixes that Spark will need to buy. I note that at the moment, search has been turned off and the rest of the site functionality is blazing fast. Last Saturday at about this time of day it was slower than molasses in January.

We dont have molasses over here so much,so we might say its like treacle.
 
Thanks for the well-wishes. Could be worse. Had a worse ice-storm in 1994, power was out for 2 weeks. Same house, same gas logs. :)

Kind of a forced vacation from technology. Got 1 and a half books finished so far while there was daylight and have had some quality cuddle time with the cats.

Wife and I are doing well. No chance of starving, got hot and cold running water, and even a few drops left in.the whiskey bottle. ;)
