How to nuke a hard-boiled egg without making a mess of your microwave or blowing your face off.

My daughter once microwaved a peeled hard-boiled egg without puncturing it first. She actually made it halfway back across the kitchen with it when it exploded and went everywhere. It's easier to clean up if it blows up inside the microwave.
Boyles Law...or is it Charles Law.....
Why would anyone ever microwave an egg?
Gonna fry a few in butter in a skillet in the morning.
Good question...the andser is marketing...if I can sell you a time saving egg device...you will never need to clean any eggy mess again...Honestly...how does anyone not see exploded microwave egg gunk being easier to clean than a saucepan...🤔

To make a refrigerated hard boiled egg peelable.
If you ask why anyone would refrigerate a hard boiled egg, I'll ignore you, because it will be obvious that we don't have a shared frame of reference.

Thanks, Jack! Good thing I had a nice lunch. Won't be any trout for dinner! Got a few strikes, and saw one fish. Too bad he was on someone elses line! :D
It was a nice day to be out on the stream.
Fishing is always a nice day out Gary :) I didn't really understand that when I was young, thought it was just about catching fish! :D Sorry you were water-licked my friend, but I'm glad you were able to get out, you'll enjoy your dinner, whatever you're having, my friend :)

Thanks, Jack. If I planned on fish for dinner everytime I hit the stream, I'd have starved to death a long time ago! :D

First forum post and thought this looked like the best place to share. Forgive me as I get accustomed to this platform.

Just happened across this and thought I’d share. Describes why I love traditional pocket knives. They remind me of Papa. Link to follow, not my own.

fingernails cut
with pocket knife
dirt too deep
to scrape
his grandson
held
his thumb
like a warm
wooden toy

Spring has definately sprung in Central New York.

Really beautiful Magnolia tree  Believe there are Hyacinth & Narcissi there too:thumbsup:

Flies have turned up , Butterflies too & the odd Crocus or two but no grass just yet, only the detritus of winter melt: fast food rubbish, dog droppings, articles of clothing, bottles etc at least there's none of those filthy, ridiculous masks this year ;)

Thanks! My wife spends a fortune on that tree. It's over 50 years old I'm sure. Sprays for this, soil injection for that. It better look good!
Viewed from my office window. It hasn't finished blooming yet.

I spent the last couple of hours rearranging and cleaning the garage. Got the snow blower and shovels in the back, the tractor, yard wagon and mower in the front etc. I'm sure it'll snow and I'll need to get at the shovels at least! Got everyting started and running good, and I'm all set to mow!
