My oldest son is a Camillus resident. Now, the question becomes, what do you call a person who lives in Camillus? Camilluburger? Camillonian? Camiller? This could go on and on..........

The selection of demonyms for persons who live in various countries, regions, states, counties, and cities seems like a process without law or order!
Since I live in a city whose residents are called Grand Rapidians, I'll go with what I know and suggest that residents of Camillus should be called Camillusians. (It's also kind of Biblical, like Paul's letters to the Corinthians, Galatians, Ephesians, Philippians, Colossians, and Thessalonians.)

I love the inconsistencies and seeming arbitrariness of English. 'Tis a versatile tongue, verily.
Where else can you spell the word FISH as GHOT ?
Several Australian place names as spoken in one of the many Native languages...are simply repeated to emphasise the plural nature of them
eg Wagga means places of many Crows so is called Wagga Wagga...
Tilba is windy ...so Tilba Tilba.

I always heard "octopi" as the plural of octopus, but Merrium-Webster says both are correct along with octopodes:

I know that everyone else has moved on, but I just had to say that I strongly prefer octopodes. Octopodes has many virtues, chief among them being the most etymologically correct plural for octopus, but perhaps the best part about using octopodes is that people will frequently correct you, and then you get to be an obnoxious smug pedant at them.

I was just thinking the submersible Titan must be dead, or the searchers would have heard banging. Now they've heard banging, and maybe Titan is less than 200 meters down or they wouldn't have heard banging?
Best case scenario is about 23 hours of air left.
You wouldn't have gotten me in that stress position machine on dry ground with the hatch open.
