Sheath looks good, and the checkering on the knife handle looks great!:cool::thumbsup:
Did you do the texture on the handle?

Thanks, and/but nope. The knife came like this.

I think I've improved this sheath some.

[There's a bit of haze on the blade this morning, and it isn't terribly warm in here. Better let the sheath dry empty for a bit.]
If you want to form fit it with the knife in there you could try the old trick some holster makers use. You wrap your knife in a plastic bag and then put it back in the wet sheath to form it

I haven't had chicory coffee since my time in Mississippi in the 1970s. I'd love to try some again. Nice case!
Thanks. The Case is from Modoc Ed.
I've always heard of chicory coffee. Never had any. Update us when you get the ratio figured out ☕
I think I'm with Prester John:
I've tried it a few times. My favorite ratio is 100% coffee, 0% chicory.
25% chicory is a lot better than 100% chicory.
I was looking for a coffee substitute for a while there. I'm still semiserious about limiting caffeine, so I thought I might get rid of the chicory by mixing it with coffee. The taste wasn't terrible, but my stomach likes chicory less than my mouth does.
Maybe I'll try it as a desiccant in my knife pockets.
And I've brought up a 4-cup coffee maker as a caffeine-limiting gambit.

Chicory is rough. Not a fan at all.

I'm also in the process of playing with the idea of lowering caffeine and sugar.... The best thing I've found so far is some different teas. To be honest if I could find a steady supply of decent lemongrass I'd probably stick with that....

It's really hard to give up that big old morning coffee. I am down to one big cup though, instead of a whole pot. Lol

Anyways.... Obligatory knife photo.

Didn't want to create a separate thread for it because I'm sure it exists. Can anyone direct me to a walk through or a how to of replacing covers?

I could just pry them off and push out the pins bit it'd be good to see how it's done properly.
