Does anyone remember a thread about how to lighten the color of jigged bone covers? My new Tobacco Barlow has such dark green covers that without a strong light and even the right angle, they look black. Green is my favorite color and I would like to be able to tell these are green! All help appreciated.

I have never lightened a knife’s color. Nathan has done it several times He uses hydrogen peroxide. However, he only does it on user knives. It does introduce the possibility of pitting and corrosion on the knife steel.
That surprises me. I'm going to have to test it.
So, we went to the Apple Orchard today and got some apples, some 1911 Loganberry-flavored vodka, hot dogs, and fries for lunch.
