Dan, that's really great! Glad you've gotten yourself a bow, shooting is tons of fun! And to be quite honest, even though I like to think I'm also a purist, I've been itching to get a compound bow as well. Don't tell anyone! ;)
 
Wanted to drop this in here, since it's not knife-related, but... Congrats, Andi! I hope everything goes well, and that Mom & Baby are both healthy! :thumbup: :thumbup:

Nothing teaches follow through when shooting like a flinter. Unless it's a matchlock, but I don't feel too bad having missed out on that bit of fun. But, I did like to cut my patches as I went instead of using precuts most of the time. Penance for using one of them fancy cap guns instead of a rocker.

Yeah, well I guess that will work as long as you don't use the sugar based garbage Pyrodex! I will admit that I do enjoy my Ruger old Army and my trap door and sharps (forgive me for I have sinned).

Folks, Mrs Humppa is not 'due' until today. So I'm sure Andi has been too busy wearing a furrow into the hospital floor.

I'm sure he'll let us know soon enough.
 
I misread, I thought he was Uncle Daddy already. My siblings and cousins call my father and uncle (they look a lot alike, and both have beards) Uncle Daddy, vice versa. My niece and nephew call my uncle Boshi Bro (they can't say bobci, the traditional word for grandmother in Polish, my aunt is their grandmother, they say boshi). My father is Bub, as in Wolverine's Hey Bub.
