Excellent Andi. The birth of a new child is always a thrilling time, I think you'll have needed a few beers to help you sleep with all the excitement! ;) And maybe in a few days you'll be glad you had that sleep! :D

Please pass my best wishes onto your family my friend :)

Generally, when younger friends ask me how it is with having children I tell them the first 25 years is the hardest! ;) :D

Enjoy every minute of it Andi, it will soon pass :)

Jack

Andi,
Beautiful boy! Congratulations! You must be the happiest man on earth right now.
He looks just like you! ;)
I will raise my glass to you, your Mrs., and baby Max, as soon as I get home from work tonight.

Herzlichen Glückwunsch Daddy Andi! :D
Und alles Gute für Euch 3!

(Translation:
Congratulations Daddy Andi! :D
All the best for the three of you!)

Unfortunately I do not yet have a Peanut to carry, but at least I ordered one, I hope that counts too! ;)

Good morning guys! :)

I wasn´t online yesterday - came home late yesterday from the hospital. Frank: As you wish - here are some technical details ;)

Weight: 4040 gram ~ 8 pounds
Size: 53 cm
Head size: 38 cm

He´s a big boy, until now but the docs say he´s healthy and everything is alright. My wife is also on the way up from the surgery. And will be on the trail in a couple of days - both are still in hospital.

I gonna go there in an couple of minutes. :)

Actually, that´s a great feeling. I still can´t explain it with words - eventually later.

If I'm not mistaken, I think PMEW is due to get hitched tomorrow, so here's just wishing Paul and his bride-to-be all the best for the rest of their lives together :)

Hope the 'do' goes off well Paul!

Jack

Welcome, Max!

-- Paul, best wishes on your big Do. Don't forget your wedding knife.... ;)

As of around 11am today, when he was commissioned as a 2nd Lt., my oldest son is a US Marine.

What a day.

Already said congrats to Andi. More to come in the years ahead, I am certain.

Paul, May you love as long as you live and live as long as you love. Many blessings to you both.

Sarah, Words fail. May he serve in safety. Smoke sent.
