Thanks everyone!

We feel very fortunate to be blessed with such a beautiful and healthy wee lad. Thank you all so much for the support and wisdom over the last nine months.

Random fact: Rory is the 171st baby born in the Hebrides this year.

:)

Hey Paul, can you send me your new address please (PM sent)? :)

Well if it hasn't gone through this time buddy, there must be something wrong!

Either way, we're at number 5A now. Everything else with regards to the address is exactly the same.

Paul

Wonderful News Paul.
All the very best to you ,Clair and wee Rory.
All the way from hot ,sunny but oft times slightly inclement Mt Keira.

Got it this times Paul, thanks a lot my friend, reply sent  There seem to be a lot of glitches recently here.

Great pic Meako  I bet that suit was hot. I could barely breathe when I did it here, and we had snow at the time. Mind you the combination of a heavily heated room, and having to use a down jacket for padding, because the cheapskates I was doing the favour for were too tight to hire a proper costume, didn't help! :D

Janette made that costume from scratch apart from the boots. Even the belt is a custom job.Basically its designed for hot humid Aussie Xmas weather.
I'm only wearing boxers underneath that suit.:D:thumbup::eek: oh and a cushion for a gut.
I know, I know-don't worry I've heard all the noxious comments from my so called work chums.
At least doing Santa got me out of doing the dads "can't stop the music" dance at the end of year concert.ho ho ho ho.
My youngest nearly blew my cover.I was surrounded by a horde of kindy kids and preschool aged siblings handing out the choccies and candy canes.Peter came up in the queue and said "dad your glasses are on crooked ".
merry christmas to you all and a safe and prosperous new year.

The perils of being Santa! :D Nice work on that costume Janette  I was doing it for about 30 kids, and their parents were too tight to throw in a quid (a monetary unit) each to hire a costume! None of the kids had a clue it was me, even my mates' young uns, who I see all the time. I came back to the party after getting changed, and they had no idea. The parents were more trouble - asking me innuendo-laden questions, and demanding the names of my reindeer, and even the place where Christmas comes first! Fortunately, I'd swotted up! ;) Two years in a row was enough for me though

Hey all! I've been a bit absent recently. I'm just now back to work after coming down with the flu which quickly turned into a VERY nasty sinus infection that had me laid up since Sunday. Katie got it too, but thankfully Julia avoided it. Hopefully I'll be around a bit more now!

Julia had her 9 month (and then some) checkup on Monday. She is now 30" long and weighs 20.5 pounds. She's still in the 99th percentile for height. Daddy's big girl! :D

Glad you're feeling better, Dan! It's a blessing that your daughter didn't catch your bug. And it sounds like you'd better get the basketball out for her! They always say you can't teach height! :D

I was looking at Rory's picture yesterday, let my ad my congratulations to you and your family also Paul. Beautiful Boy and name!

Nice going Meako and Jack. We always need more Santas - except here!!
They had a huge SantaCon here (Santa Convention!!)!
Hundreds of 'em on a night long Pub crawl. Sorry, no pics. My son and his woman, both dressed in Red, said it was great!

Glad you are mending, Dan!
