Prayed, Andi.

Andi that's awful news. Claire and I will keep Max, Sandra and you in our prayers. Tell the wee fella to keep his chin up, he'll be ok.

Paul

Poor little sausage! :( Hope Max is soon well again Andi

I'm very sorry to hear this, Andi. Baby Max will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Andi, I hope and pray Max is well soon my friend. I hate to hear about babies sick and suffering. :(

Prayers up for Baby Max!

Pulling for Max today. Hang in there parents!

I hope Max gets to feeling better soon.

Thanks for the heartwarming recovery wishes for Baby Max. Highly appreciated!!! He needs them. The fever is still torturing him. But he´s a tall and great guy and I´m sure will do this as of nothing.

All in all it seems not to be our year for 2015.

I'll add Max to my prayer list, too, Andi. How is YOUR chest doing lately? I hope things can get "back to normal" for you quite soon!

Add my prayers to your tally Andi, I hope Max is feeling better very soon! And to Leghog, TLO looks to be a very cute little girl! Congrats to you ad the parents! Steven

Hey guys!

Just a little update: Baby Max' temperature is almost lower than the days before. The medicine seems to help. ;) I´m so glad and hoping that he will be back on the trail in a few days.

About my chest; well things turned out not that good. Heart and lungs are alright so far. But there is something that is not alright at all. My back is almost garbage. Everything is used out and totally downhill. One leg is longer than the other and that caused the problems. They told me my back in a condition as I would have worked for 35 hard on the building lot. But I´m turning just 32 in June.

As I said - 2015 is not my year. It really sucks!

Sorry to hear this Andi! Are they offering a solution to the problem? I pray that you can recover and be strong enough to go hiking with Max! Steven

Good to hear Max is on the mend. But I'm sorry to hear of your own issues, Andi.

Congratulations to you and your family leghog-TLO is a little beauty .
Andi -sorry to hear about Max-ear infection-associated with teething? are not nice for little ones. Or is it a notorious summer cold-my kids would get them after going all winter here and when it starts to warm up for springtime they got a cold!
My tip for bad backs is swimming laps if you have a heated pool somewhere near. Good for the old ticker as well my friend. Hope you are both feeling better soon.:)

Andi, I'm glad to hear Max is doing better. Sorry to hear about your back trouble.

I don't want to invite any comments, just prayers for the city of Baltimore please. I work in the city, about ten minutes from all of the hubbub that happened yesterday. This city needs your prayers and good thoughts and smoke right now. Thank you.

Sending prayers, mojo and smoke for Andi's family AND Baltimore.

On a lighter topic, if I may ...... You've heard of a "pocket dump" where folks show what they're toting. How about a "shoe show" where we see what you're walking around in these days?

For me, it's my Ariat ropers. Dang comfortable boots!

And you?

-- Mark

Thanks for the kind wishes, once more. HIghly appreciated!

Prayers and smoke sent to Balitmore.

Just back from 4 days in and around Americus Georgia. Karen's Uncle Ralph passed away after a long battle with cancer. Had a few hours to just look around, and the infamous Andersonville prison was just a few miles up the road from the families place. Nice sunny afternoon, rolling Georgia countryside, belays the horror that was called the 16 acres of hell.

Stakes in ground outline where the original walls of the stockade were. In this field, 52,000 Union prisoners were held under horrible conditions.

Hello SHS,

I have been praying for all of the people in Baltimore and all over Maryland for a couple of days now. I was born in NY but raised in MD from the age of one year old.

My only, older brother lives in MD. I have two cousins who live in MD. They live in other counties not in the city. Some of their children work and live in the city of Baltimore. I have a few old friends from my old Church who live in Baltimore too.

There are many good people in Maryland. I will continue to pray for the state as I do for many other people all over the East Coast and country.

Take care!

Hello,

I am glad to hear that Max is doing better.

I am sorry to hear about your health problems and I hope that something can be done to help you too.

Take care!

Cate

For the last three weeks it was beautiful weather except on the weekends, and the forecast for the coming weekend looked bad yet again.
So I had enough and moved my weekend by two days, I'll go to work when it rains on Saturday/Sunday.
I enjoyed two beautiful days in the mountains:

Preparing cooking utensils.

There was plenty of bear's garlic, ramsons or whatever you call it to make the risotto a bit tastier.

My camp.

And on my way back.

It's funny how in photos it never looks as steep as when you're there. But if you ever went up 45 degrees you know that you don't want to slip. :D.

Forgot to take pictures on the summit, was too busy enjoying the view. But that's not bad either. :)

Beautiful, beautiful pictures and thank you for sharing!
