Indeed, Joe. 100 % agreed. Thanks to all you guys for the recovery wishes of my jaw. It´s almost getting a little better. The pain is still here but a little weaker than some days before. Those painkillers are a gift of god, but the codein is not letting you drive a vehicle... maybe it is better not driving a car now.

I will say a prayer for you too.

I wish you a speedy recovery with NO other side effects, infection, exposed nerve endings, etc.

You should not drive when you are on those types of medicines. Stay safe!

... wise decision :p

LOL! :D

It may sound strange, but I don't actually mind going to the dentist at all. I've had the same guy for 30-odd years, even the same dental nurse for at least 25, and when I go to the dentist it's like a social visit, I think I must be their happiest patient, I could fall asleep in that chair! :D

I've had the same good fortune with dentists, Jack.

Good to hear Brian  I'm afraid that mine will be retiring soon, and I will have to look round for a new one. Decent dentists seem to be few and far between here.

I hope you have the same fortune that we have had. Our dentist hired another to work with him then a year or two later retired. The new one has been every bit his equal, if not better.

That's good to hear Brian. Mine had a long-standing partner and the practice ran from two different surgeries, but they divided the practice at the beginning of the year. I'm just hoping I can get a good recommendation for a dentist a bit closer to where I live.

Thank you Mr. Latham! I've been meaning to read this for a while but you made it so easy I couldn't say no.

Jack, I read in a recent issue of Sports Illustrated that The World's Strongest Man competition was held in Leeds a couple (?) of weekends ago. I had intended to ask if you and EARL had attended any sessions, but your dental attitude makes it plain to me that you must have been one of the competitors!!!:eek::D

LOL! Thanks GT :D  I'm afraid that I didn't get a call from the organizers! :D

My wife, daughter and I took a nice drive yesterday to stop at a few breweries and see my good friend Jon Christensen M.S., so he could meet my daughter. A beautiful drive through beautiful country. I knew Jon had a certain piece of damascus laying in his tool box and I asked him if I could take it for a project that I am working on with Johnny Stout, single blade trapper. Here is the piece, it is a leaf feather damascus, it is a complicated pattern and very time consuming, along with some rare cocobolo burl(which was very hard to photograph) that will be used also. Thanks for looking and have a great Sunday.
