LA figured out they were in a desert over 100 years ago and took steps to develop a work-around.
Northern California didn't used to be a desert, so they never developed alternate water sources.
 
The face of a happy camper!

Granddaughter Briana has skunked son in law, grandson, and myself. Returned to the lake late this afternoon and fished some more, and the 6 year old pulled this one in all by herself. Epic struggle, but every time we tried to help her, she'd yell "Noooo! I'm doing it!"

And she did.:eek:

That's a heck of a fish. Briana probably wasn't even born the last time I caught a fish like that. :o

Briana, now that is a fish to be proud of! A fishing trick for next time you catch a beauty like that, hold the fish away from you in pics, it makes it look bigger. ;):)

Jeff I thought I would show off your lil man.

Meet Kona Kea (I think I spelt that right). He is a Coton de Tulear that is almost ready to go home with Jeff, Black Mamba.

We were having fun in the yard a few days ago.





He is king over his sisters ...



and helps guard over my knives.





Only a few more days till he gets to guard over a better collection :D

I don't consider giveaways to be clutter or in any way disruptive to the discussion of traditional knives in this subforum. (but I admit that I tend to dislike change)
