Randy, Smoke sent for Chris.

Congratulations, Barrett!!! Fantastic, and she's a gem! Born right on time, and I bet she keeps you waiting the rest of your life. ;). (I have 3 daughters--ask me how I know). :D

Thoughts and prayers go out to our German porch members. More senselessness. Has anyone heard check-ins from those in Bavaria? I'm thinking Andy (humppa) and stockman242 hail from there. Hope all is well with them and their's. Am I forgetting anyone?

Randy mate, I hope your son in law pulls through and recognizes the warning his body has given him! Hes a very young man and has lots of things to do yet in life! All the best my friend.

Barrett, Oh man - what a wee treasure you have there, My girls are simply my world, Im going up this morning to spend a good part of the day with my beautiful Girl whos turning 25, I am just the proudest Dad in the world, I love my girls so so mush and so proud of them with the way they are living their lives.
Each stage of your wee girls life Barrett is such a privilege to watch her go through - it hasnt stopped for me!

Well done, now ....tell me, isnt it the most beautiful feeling hugging your wee girl and just holding her and breathing her in!

I bought a neat old Rocking chair ( actually ...where has that gone over the years?) so when I got home from work I would rock Kelsey in the chair, I just could not get enough of her beautiful toothless grin and laughing - man that was just the best! Thanks, Jack! It's a good name. ;)

This morning she fell asleep listening to the sound of a crackling campfire on the white noise app we downloaded, so I'm hopeful we might have a little outdoorsman (outdoorswoman?) on our hands. :D

I wanted to call her Eleanor May after Ellie May Clampett, but her mother wouldn't let me! :grumpy: :D

Jack, my friend, you just made my day. :)

I used to love the Beverly Hillbillies. I watched re-runs growing up, all the way through high school. For one class we had to do a psychological profile of a fictional character and I chose Granny. I don't recall whether the teacher was amused, but I sure enjoyed it. :)

Congratulations, Barrett! I have a similar photo I took of my first granddaughter. There is just something beautiful about a newborn..

When my son was born, I wanted to call him Christopher Columbus. My wife had a very hard time giving birth (she ended up having a c-section) and when I asked her if that was OK she very quietly with little energy said 'No, how about Christopher Dean.' Probably better in the long run. The mother wins even in a quiet disagreement! :)
