Forgive me if this breaks the rules of the forum, but I could use your help. A friend of mine is going through a bit of a rough time. His brother, who is a pastor, has been detained and facing prison in Turkey on false charges. It doesn't look good. You may have read about it today on F.ox.news. All I ask is that you share the link on face.book and take the time to sign it. I am not asking that you donate, only to get the link and word out. Thanks for your help.

They reintroduced January 2nd as a public holiday in my country this week. It's nice since it's another work-free day. It was so years ago already but then some smarty pants got the idea it will increase productivity and make everyone earn so much more. No need to say the people were angry and started taking day offs on that day anyway. Now when the government is facing serious problems they came up with this to buy the masses. It won't work, but we got our holiday back. :)

KBA, I have a question about the petition for your mate's brother. Not being an US citizen, can I sign it as well? I'd like to help.

I can only imagine what it must be like as well for all the native Turks getting swept up in this mass witch hunt for imagined conspirators...
