Yeah. It's a large caliber, but I love all the options for projectiles and different weights. The suppressor reduces recoil pretty significantly.

I haven't locked in the exact scope yet. I was looking at a few, but I think I narrowed it down to options from mavin, leupold, or nightforce.

I'm still poking around. I think the mavin and leupold I was looking at were in that range.

Which scopes have you really liked in that range? I can't remember if it was Athlon or Arken that I heard had some really good stuff
 
Her new hiking gun arrived last week, everything still feels a little rough .... will have a romantic range day soon :)

I have an Arken that I really like. I have a buddy thats all Vortex and he took my rifle with the Arken home with him and did quite a bit of shooting and he loved it. He tested side by side with his Vortex Viper and Razor. It was little crisper than the Viper and the Razor was better when the sun started going down. The Razor was better but for that much more it should be. There are some videos of Arken side by side with Nightforce. This is on my AR10 in 308. He was shooting 800 yards.
