Carothers and Guns

Ypu can still make it full auto pretty easily

So that's good
Within a week of release of the gen V ( released maybe 4 weeks back) someone came out with a switch.
Gen 5....then Gen V came out with raised metal edges around the striker channel and back plate to prevent a switch (unsuccessfully).....now Gen 6 comes out with the same internal and new external changes

No rest for the weary when you’re perfecting perfection 😂

I figured you are paying for the platform and then paying more for the mods as far as gen 5 is concerned. I see the aftermarket industry now getting stiffed with the introduction of the gen 6.
Wonder what's going to happen after 2035 when most of the gen 5 patents expire and the clone wars begin? Even now most who have shot the Ruger rxm seem to consider it a worthy contender to the gen 3 glocks.

Ruger makes a better GLOCK ....

PSA makes a better GLOCK.....

Yesterday in fact

As far as immediate all weather ruggedness goes, looks like the crown goes to the S&W MP 9 2.0. ( changing to the apex barrel and trigger seems to be the accepted norm to get the most out of the gun).
Striker fired guns which can take tens of thousands of rounds( sometimes more than a 100,000 after a barrel change)- only 2 names pop up on youtube - glock and walther pdp.

Thanks, B / Hammer67 Hammer67 and R. / RLB0414 RLB0414 - I needed that additional motivation this morning.

I’m in the market for a .22 pistol and wanted to get some feedback. Looking for a compact with threaded barrel.

I was initially thinking the FN502 but found they are having issues. I then went to the new Beretta 20x - I like the idea of the size. Add a small can and where can’t you shoot…?

I’m not into S&W but found they have a compact. I have the Ruger SR22 with standard barrel and it’s okay.

Y’all have any suggestions?
