Any .22lr suppressor recommendations? I'll do research, but figured I might ask here too.
Not sure what is most important to you in your search, but I will throw out the Pluto and Pluto micro. Lightest 22 suppressors I have tried and do a fine job. The micro on a rifle is plenty quiet and the full size is very quiet.

They are 3d printed so cleaning baffles means soaking with a solution.

If you want removable baffles and more typical components where weight isn’t a concern, the Rugged Oculus has been great.

Also heard great things about the TBAC 22 can, but no personal use. It is going to be hard to go wrong with a 22 suppressor.

Thanks! Yeah, I was shocked how many different ones there were out there, so just hoping for a good place to start looking. I'm sure some are better than others.

I should add, this would be for both pistol and rifle. 1/2-28 threading.

They work great on a pistol too. The micro is a little louder than I like on the pistol, but the full size is excellent. Very light, so balance isn’t messed up.

Good call on those 2 recommendations! They were both on my list.

I had it down to these:
● Rugged Oculus
● Rugged Mustang
● FOR Pluto
● OCL Ti22
● CAT SR/A2
● Resilient Jessie’s Girl
● Dead Air Mask

Some decisions I made over the weekend while researching -
● All on the list will do a pretty good job on the rifle, so I want one optimized for a pistol, 5” or less (Ti22, SR/A2)
● Higher performance is better
● I don’t really care about modularity, as the shorter versions of the Rugged models don’t suppress all that well (Oculus and Mustang)
● I don’t want Aluminum (Mustang and Jessie’s Girl AL)
● I don’t want anything over 5oz for a pistol (Oculus, Mask, Jessie’s Girl)
● I want it to be black. (All have this option)
● Under $450 (CAT SR/A2 is more if you can even find it)
● Finally, I don’t want a printed, 1-piece can (Pluto, SR/A2)

Those things pretty much narrowed it down to the Otter Creek Ti22 in black. All Titanium, machined construction, can be disassembled for cleaning, optimized for pistol-length barrels (one of the best there is), only 3.7oz, and high-performance suppression.

Now I just need to find one that isn’t going to cost me an extra $100 in transfer fees. :poop: Distributors are currently backordered (which seems to be the case with almost all the good suppressors right now, thanks to the $0 tax stamp that started 1/1/26). I can wait…

I have 6 22 cans ATM, and will be getting another 2. One for sure is the B&T Tiger 22, it’s solid construction 3d printed so can’t take apart and clean, but with all the “non toxic” cleaner on the market it’s not a big deal. Takes a lot for me to be impressed with a 22 can and the B&T was amazing

It's so cruel to make us California residents look at awesome stuff that we can never buy.

I do enjoy the torture of looking nonetheless.

Phil

Just think of the stuff I don’t post 😂

I don’t think I researched that one, I’ll take a look. Thanks! (I see that it’s 3D printed, and I’d much prefer to be able to take it apart, but I’ll still give it a shake.)

Currently have a Rugged Oculus, Silencerco Sparrow, OSS (or Huxwrx I forget) RAD22, proto Thompson Machine Zephyr, old ass Huntertown Guardian (rebuffed to titanium).

All are “user serviceable” and it’s really the most horrible thing to do with 22 cans. The new soak cleaners work well and I have 0 concerns about a sealed can at this point

Back in the day when the Outback was available as a non user serviceable and you had to rely on simple green it’s a different story but nowadays, no concerns

This is good info for a lingering concern of mine! Thank you!!

If you would indulge me, what cleaner do you use or recommend? Procedure? Again, thank you! ☺️

Here's a link with a quick overview of a few products with general directions on use and process.

There are other products available and a search for "suppressor cleaning solutions" will yield additional information and links along with reviews of each product line, which metals they work on, and their effectiveness.

Hope this helps.
