Re: suppressors on mil rifles…flash and recoil reduction are a couple other reasons they use them.
I have been really impressed with federal 8 pellet 000 buck. In my Benelli m4 it really stays together at 25 yards. Not a super tight pattern at any range but no "fliers." I like #1 buck over 00 as well.If anyone else picks up one of these fire breathing beasts, I’d be curious to hear what loads you’re liking.
Cool. I saw something about 9 not packing together and flying as well as 8 pellet. Are you a proponent of tight grouping or spreads? I’ve seen guys argue for and against “flight control” type loads…mostly for inside the home defense I think.I have been really impressed with federal 8 pellet 000 buck. I like a somewhat tight pattern. I don't have Flite Control loaded up right now. All #1 buck at the moment. I do have some flight control stuff on hand though.Cool. Hmmmm...Flite-Control and Hornady's Versa-Tite are both excellent. I'd use either inside or outside the home...Buck, #1 or 000.
Recent testing shows the 8 pellet loads to be superior under most circumstances.
Yyyup$5.65. That’s been a while
Thx JacobBoth of those are beauties Mark!
