This was an extremely lucky charity raffle win, and it's a privilege to own such a grail pistol from one of the newest APG members, whose membership was sponsored by Ted Yost. I honestly would never have been able to afford a gun like this or been willing to put up the money even if I'd had it. It's the finest gun I will likely ever own.
Wow - that Colt/KGB is absolutely incredible.

Thoughts on a sig 320 x-carry 9 ?

Might have a deal on one (not that I would ever buy anything after my horrible boating accident)
Have you had a chance to hold one yet? I’ve seen some very positive reviews. But I checked one out recently and the grip seemed extra thick…didn’t grab me, but looks like a solid gun.

Haven't had a chance yet , won't be till next weekend when I can check one out in person

And thanks for letting know how you feel about the grip!

Picked up a new deer rifle :) . Waiting for an optic to arrive, but pleasantly surprised with how nicely this Tavor 7 shoots after testing it this weekend. Will also have a can eventually, and still be shorter OAL than a 16” AR platform.

One of the pluses with the P320 series, is the mix'n'match simplicity. There are several different sized grip frames available (the actual Sig ones are ~$4x/ea), if you don't like one in particular (and grips are quite an individual thing; dependent on hand size and personal preference etc.).

FWIW, it seems a lot of folks like the Wilson Combat grip frames (cost a bit more than Sig's grip frames). Don't know. Haven't tried them.
