CPM-154 is what they have been using for several years so I am guessing it will be the same for this one.

Here are the glamour shots of the two prototypes that Tony sent to Case for them to study and set up production. Tony sends them a completed knife and a pull-apart. I'll put the pix up in the Bose Knives thread as well. The Case version will be constructed identical to these with the micarta or some kind of synthetic spacer in the end of the knife pocket to protect the blade tip edge from over-travel.

I'm sorry, I didn't notice there was already a thread about this subject but here are your images of the 2016 Case-Bose Collab. They are calling it the Wilfred Lockback Hunter. It is essentially the old 4 1/2" R-1306 pattern.

Man! That's a great looking knife, but that's the opposite of small I really wish there was a way for me to get my hands physically on the Coffin Jack to see if the blades and knife overall actually appeals to me. I'd love to have at least one of these collabs and that's the only one that would fit in my watch pocket!

IMHO, the price of Case Bose collaborations are NICE for what you get. Well worth the money for the quality and the design.

154CM on all of the patterns since 2010 I believe, previous patterns were ATS34. The 1306 is my favorite lockback pattern, I'm glad to see this one. Will need to see it in person though.

Before the close ups I wasn't so sure about the knife, but man, seeing the detail changes everything!
The jimping, the swedge, the spacer, I could just keep on going. I don't know why I expected anything else.

In the general production, I'm really glad Bonestag is being offered, it's one of CASE's best.:thumbup: I'm after a Swayback in that.

The Willfred Lockback shows that Big is Beautiful too. Really like the choice of shield, and the pin-work. The pins on the display models look a bit different from the proto pix that Kerry very kindly shared with us, but either option looks excellent.

I'm angling for Chestnut Bone and to think that 2016 was meant to be the year of knife austerity for me:thumbup: We'll see......
