Damn, the thought of that makes my heart skip a beat.If they made the 6392 with 20CV, I'd have to play!
I really like the looks of Case's x318 pattern, but I've never bought one because that sheepsfoot blade tip floating up above the liners drives me nuts - it's one of those (possibly irrational) "pet peeves" that people get.Interesting. I hadn't noticed but mine is a tad proud also. But for it to actually catch anything, both other blades would need to be open at the same time. Otherwise access is blocked by whichever blade is not open.
I have a 6318PU in CV (same model but has a punch instead of a spey blade. Also in peachseed amber bone, oddly enough. ) It has the same gap. So it appears to be part of the design of this pattern, rather than a somethins specific to this particular run.

I love that Case is doing this. Anyone know if the large Stockman was made in S35VN or will be made in 20CV?I have an S35VN Stockman and they did a great job on the steel. It’s also the best fit and finish of my small collection of Cases.
I’d love to see them continue to branch out. CruWear and Magnacut would be mighty enticing for me.
I think Case is testing the waters to see if there's a demand. Hopefully, they'll continue coming out with more traditional models in the upgraded steels.I love that Case is doing this. Anyone know if the large Stockman was made in S35VN or will be made in 20CV?
