Case Tony Bose Collabs pic and discussion thread.

Recently added this one, usually don't go for the antique bone, but the color on this one is wonderful and the jigging is excellent. Nice and snappy.

That does have really nice jigging & color. Does not look like the typical antique bone.

Added these two recently. The Norfolk will probably always be my favorite, but I could see the clip lockback being a close second.

This one has excellent fit and finish. Good snap and pull on both secondaries.

The 99 slim trapper is just awesome. When I first started collecting Case the slim single blade trapper was the first pattern I was drawn to. Add a long wharncliffe blade to the mix and it's about perfect.

Quick question....I’ve been looking for the Lanny’s Clip collab but have been unsuccessful

Thinking of just getting this year’s locking Lanny’s clip. Thoughts?

Not to dissuade you from getting this year's knife, but the Lanny's do come up for sale occasionally, so I think you can get one if you are patient.

Some dude on the gram had an ebony LC for sale yesterday for $100. Not sure if it sold or not but I would assume it did. If I were buying knives right now I'd have tripped over myself to buy it.

anyone have a suggestion for a belt sheath that would work accommodate the Wilfred lockback without the propensity to scratch it up too much?

update: the KSF courier sheath is pretty nifty, but as expected it really is limited to 4.25". the premium stockman barely fits, to the point I don't really plan to use the sheath for it (it may get better when broken in).

the Horsewright pocket slips are a lot nicer than I expect. for $15 good deal too!

planning on picking up a couple large KSF courier sheaths, but concerns about the 4.25" limit (per KSF's advertised description).

the large GEC belt sheaths look like quality. don't necessarily love emblazoned logos though...

a pocket sheath w/ metal clip could also work, and suggestions are appreciated.

basically for poor old long skinny Wilfred other than its current slip.

thanks for the help!

and the obligatory first Case/Bose collab discussion thread reflection:

oh heavens, what a terrible thing it is discovering this line of cutlery, but at least it helps get me out of bed in the mornings...

can't stop dreaming about the Case/Bose pruners :(

Take a look on Etsy for pocket slips. There’s a gal located in the Cleveland area that makes nice slips for folding knives. I’m not sure if I can name her because I don’t think she’s a paying maker.

my difficulty in finding the LC may be because I only frequent BF

I am not a social media guy. That’s an understatement

at $100....you sure its legit? That’s crazy low

It was legit. It's also sold and understandably at that price.

all that's gotta be done first is paying for a membership ;)

it was gonna happen sooner or later

[edit: nvr mind, see the website now  thanks again! their boot sheath looks pretty good!]

appreciate your suggestion; always happy to support ladies from O hio!

the only struggle at the moment is whether the next collab will be a cattle knife or wharncliff trapper

it's really silly, because undoubtably will end up with both sooner than later. yet, still... which comes first?

agonizing

Case makes some nice leather sheaths for belts

definitely like them, just wanted something that might not pose as much of a scratch risk

admittedly it's a nitpick thing, as they'll* eventually get dinged up and then it won't be something to whine about

*(see, already talking like there's more than one collab knife in the collection...)

Kind of late to the party, but @Gary W. Graley is always a solid sheath choice...he made a great one for my Wilfred lockback.
