Let me bring this wonderful thread back to page one with some Ebony! Man, I really like these collabs. You might have to work a bit to get one with no issues, but it sure is worth it. Tony was great for Case. He designed some of their best knives.

I have a couple of of the Case/Bose colabs & they're all, great knives. I've been a stockman fan for over fifty years & the cattle knife is just about right.
 
A few thoughts before I box the wharncliffe trapper to be wrapped up. 😭

Chestnut bone? Lol...more like pumpkin.

A couple of nitpicks, but this is a fine example of the cutler's craft. No gaps, no blade play, just an extremely well made knife as Tony Bose intended.

I need a Norfolk.

Thanks John. Interesting how you wanted a WT, but ended up with a Norfolk, whereas I wanted a Norfolk, but received a WT.

It's not yet my birthday, so SWMBO insisted that while I may inspect the knife for flaws, it is not mine until the day of and must be returned to her for wrapping.
 
Has anyone picked up one of the Case/Bose HT Trappers? I've been looking at them, and was just curious if anyone has handled one. I've got two of the Bullnose Trappers - which I really like - and was considering the HT Trapper.

Yes and I absolutely love mine and it has exceeded my expectations in every area !
 
As the OP of this thread and now as a custom maker myself I can say with absolute certainty that the Case Bose collabs are an amazing value. I love seeing everything posted in this thread! I pray that Case has enough source material that they can continue to bring us this level of quality in a production slip joint knife for years to come.

I agree. It’s also the only way I would be able to afford Bose’s designs. I also hope they can keep it going. I wonder if Reese will be involved in the Case/Bose collabs going forward.
