Case Tony Bose Collabs pic and discussion thread.

Before Tony passed, he sent me pictures of what he thought was going to be the last year's knife, after Case initially turned down the HTT. As far as I know, they have the take apart knife from Tony for a new pattern this year.
I have to ask, as speculation is the name of the game, are you able to share what pattern that was?

I would have been wrong last year, so I probably shouldn't say. He mentioned a single blade pattern, which I have pictures of, and possibly a two-blade pattern on deck.

After perusing this thread for several days it finally broke me down 😥. Yesterday I ordered my first Case/Bose collaboration, the Eureka Jack with brown bone handles. Needless to say I’m jazzed and will post pics upon arrival. 😃
I think you'll like it. The Eureka isn't a small knife, but it's one of those that carries well. You'll hardly notice it's in your pocket.

I know it's a different frame than the coffin jack, which is very pocketable. Which one would you you prefer?

I hope you like yours. I really like mine and have been carrying it a lot since I got it around Christmas. Nicest knife I own for sure.

Sorry. I don't think I've ever handled a coffin jack, so I can't answer that. As far as size & pocketability, it's very similar to my two bladed #15 Barlows.

I've got them both. It's really a toss up for me, as far as pocketibility, comfort when being used and the other aesthetics that make the CB collaborations such great knives. The little wharncliffe blade on the Eureka Jack makes it my favorite of the two.

Thanks Gary. I've looked at them for a while now and I'm going to pull the trigger on one.

I saw a jumbo texas jack in one of these threads. The main blade was similar to the main on the premium stockman and its secondary was a pen.

If that one is ever made my wallet is going to take a SERIOUS hit

You are indeed correct! I just got mine today and it’s beautiful! Fit and finish is top notch and imho worth every penny. Only one thing left to do, find a slip worthy of carrying her. 😃
